RPGs with BAD voice actors

I would be for me, part of Star Ocean: Til the End of Time. Mainly just Fayt's and Albel's. In dramatic scenes they do this idioctic yell that makes them sound like a dead emu or something like that. I mute thoose parts when I play it. But Albel still has a place in my heart. Just no more dead emu cries my god!

Without a doubt the worst voice acting that I have ever heard on an RPG (or any game in general) was from Legend of Dragoon. It sounded like they took actors from old Godzilla movies, gave them about three bottles of Yeggirmeister, and let them read right out of the script. Well, I'm just glad they gave mentally-diffecient people the opportunity to voice in games as well. Oh and House of the Dead 2, holy crap!!

Hey, i like Crispen Freeman. And steve staley's cool too. You cant beat the stupid level up quotes, though. "i THINK i'M GETTING THE HANG OF THIS!11" "MUHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!" I want to play legend of dragoon now...

Though House of the Dead 2 isn't a RPG, I'll agree it has one of the WORST voice acting I've ever heard (didn't improve much in 3). The voice actors sound like people pulled from the street and asked to read from a script with no other interaction except for a cold cruel microphone in front of them.... >< As for RPGs... most of the one's I've played had no voices. However, I've played Baten Kaitos and while the main cast's voicing are alright (some bordering on "good" :D), some of the supporting and minor voices are terrible, PLAIN TERRIBLE! C'mon, put a bit more effort into it! Sheesh...  |

I'd have to agree with one of the above posts about Legend of Dragoon, as much as I love that game. :{o I never mute any of it though. I just like to have fun with it and laugh. ~ S.A. |
