Anime based on games. would you change something?

| Hi. first topic on this forum, so I'm kinda nervous. Anyway, let's get on it, since I've been thinking about this lately. As you all know, there are lots of anime based on japanese ren ai videogames, some of which are awesome and some that just plain suck. Anyway, what I want to know through this topic is if there's something you would change about this kind of series, whether is something general for all anime of the sort or something about an specific anime. I mean, would you cut down on the fanservice, would you change the story to be more like the one in the game or the opposite way? well, as for me, I'd like to watch a ren ai based anime where the ending doesn't have too much to do with the main girl in the game, more like with any of the other girls. I know using the main girl makes sense, but it would be nice to see something different, don't you think? |

If I could, I would change the genre, so it doesn't focus on milking a good original concept for what it's worth. Most of the movie/anime/etc. based games that I've played have pretty much have been just the movie/anime/etc...BUT WITH GAMEPLAY!!! Maybe if they introduce a new factor to the whole concept they could actually progress the concept instead of just leeching off of it, than I think it would certainly make it more enjoyable. Then again, I just don't like sequels.
