Anybody watched Kino's Journey?

I loved that anime so much that I bought the whole episodes! (now my pokets are currently empty... God those ADV films DVDs are expensive T_T) but in my opinion Kino's Journey is definately worth it. My whole family enjoyed its stories (they seem some sort of legends that are forgoten or like grandmas way of story telling, yeah I know u may say "bleh so lame!" But u must watch it in order to judge it ^_^) second thing is that I loved the art style although not power full and also it's slow calm mood makes me feel like 'am inside the anime watching the whole events! So that's my opinion, what's yours?^_^

I loved it. I laughed my ass off at the 3 railroad workers episode. A lot of the episodes also makes you think. I wish there were more eps though.

Yes, she is a girl although a lot of characters she meets for the first time mistakes her for a boy and her motorcycle is a sentient bike.

| Weird. I thought Kino was a boy. I have only seen reviews of it so far. Yeah, no one says that she's a girl. Is it good? I've been looking at a bunch of different animes lately. |

What? When I watched the trailer, I thought she was a boy. A girl? Bikkurishita....!!!

Yeah, there is a flashback episode where you get to see her in a dress. It was the time when she first met Hermes and decided to get out of her town and become a traveler. You guys should definitely watch it. It's a series that makes you really think about things and how reality is percieved differently by one set of people to the next. Here's a pic of her in a dress before she cut her hair

I don't know anything about this one but my friend recommended it so I ordered the whole set for $41. I'll see what its about in a couple weeks :) I wanted to order the movie too but it doesn't appear to be licensed. |

Yes, I love Kino's Journey so much that this was a repeat topic ^_^ It's a pretty unique anime, telling that there's barely a storyline, *short parables*, and I love it when she fights, and gives morality to the story. I also thought she's a boy before X_X @ Picture when she's young: I saw that, she cut her hair because it was stained with blood.  |
