Ive noticed since the first time Ive signed up, that the downloads counter in the upper right, doesnt keep an accurate count. It says Ive downloaded 204 times. There is no way that I have downloaded that many songs/times. It seems that for each song Ive downloaded, it increases its count by ~4 at a time. I am just pointing this out. Thought it might be an error or something. |

this is not an error in my download script, it is a problem with your browser. it appears you are using firefox, could it be that the version you are using is out of date? every time you access the download script, your download count is incremented by one. if you start a download, and do not finish it, it still counts as a download. if you click once but your browser fetches the page 4 times for some unbeknownst reason, it counts as 4 downloads. if you download the same song 3 times just cause you feel like wasting my bandwidth and your time, your download count will be incremented by 3. god forbid you a the download script in your WMP playlist, every time you access it you will be given an error and your download count will increase by one (not to mention you will be banned shortly thereafter).

Yes, I am using Firefox. It might be out of date, but Im not exactly sure. I did download Firefox a second time this January though. I have finished all music downloads, only stopping a few. Could you explain this a bit better please: "god forbid you a the download script in your WMP playlist, every time you access it you will be given an error and your download count will increase by one (not to mention you will be banned shortly thereafter)" Thank you much! |

if your download count is greater than twice the number of anime music files in the database, you are obviously wasting my bandwidth. in such a case, i have been known to take away download privileges.

sometimes when i download songs, or in this case, game music, a notice pops up and says cannot connect to site... make sure address is correct... blah blah. when i refresh the page, the downloads counter actually counts that as a download even if i never downloaded the song. don't you think that's quite unfair? maybe some people get banned not because they are wasting your bandwidth but because they may actually be constantly getting errors like those.
