DDR Skillz
|
So, how good are you people at this whole DDR thing? I don't want to start a war, nor do I want to boast about my skills (I encounter players FAR better than me with annoying regularity), but I'm just curious to see how good the rest of the world is. As for me, I can PASS (read: get a D on) anything less than 10 feet, with the exception of that devil of a song So Deep. May it rot and die. The only 10 foot songs I can do are Sakura (no mods) and Bag (cheating 3x style). Hiro out. |

i suck with my feet when im sober, but give me a 40 and i will bust out some 5 step songs and vomit on your couch. thats about the limit of my ddr-powaaaaaaaaaaaa... |
Re: DDR Skillz

I'm good enough to do seven feet on maniac, sometimes a little more than that if I'm in a good mood. It's fun to play with Gendou since he's always holding his gloved hands in front of his face. We keep on telling him that colored glasses make it harder to DDR and to maybe take off his jacket but he won't listen to us.
I think that Gendou eats poopies!

I can do any 7 foot heavy easily. 8 foot it may take me a few tries to get used to the song before I ace it and 9's take me all week and then some. Except for Dead End perhaps. 10's... i have yet to pass one of those on my feet... -_-;.. hope this qualifies.
b4k4... -_-;...

I understand a little spanish and know enough other roman languages to make a vage translation of it. ^^ Should go something like this: "This might sound ?stupid (desubicado)? but, I'm chatting with the boy that makes me crazy" Obviously tottaly off-topic..... -_-

Meh I've been playing since late January of this year... I can do most all standards I encounter and a few easy heavys... I'm most comfortable at 7-8 feet. I don't really have a favorite song, but I LOVE playing Afronova and Witch Doctor both on Standard. Fun fun! |

Uh when I was keeping track, I beaten every level 9 from 3rd-7th, and extreme just had too many to do, but I think I ended with about 70 9footers beaten. I can beat anything below 9 on my first try of that song, and as for 10's In the order I beat them in: Max300 MaxX Unlimited(On the same day =D) Sakura Bag(first with boost, now I play without any mods except flat) Paranoia Survivor And I'm trying to do Legend of Max now, but I can only get about 50 seconds without the bar =( And wierdly when I use the bar I only get about 30 seconds... |

As i'm writing this there's a DDR competition going on at the Adventure dome in Circus Circus. i would have went but, u kno, work work work! i heard something about a 1000 prize or soemthing, i wish i was in the comp. but theres no way i could match up to those DDRists |
Re: DDR Skillz

well i can pretty much do any song except those crazy ones (like the Paranoia Survivors) but the rest i can do just fine . . . just outta curiousity . . . does anyone freestyle? cuz thats my thing . . . i prefer freestyle over technical anyday (im such an attention whore V_V) |
Re: DDR Skillz

I'm really out of practice right now, but I can usually pass any song up to an eight-footer on Heavy with at least a B. I've only passed a few nine-footers, (namely Break Down with a C and Summer Love with an A) and I don't even want to THINK about trying any ten-foot songs. Well, maybe Max 300 or Sakura once I get more in-practice... |
Re: DDR Skillz

I'll admit,I'm pretty d*mn good. About a month ago, I started doing the entire 14-foot-facing-away thing, and, simply put, I s*ck at it. I'm always like a tenth of a second behind the d*mn light. Maybe I should stay in my league and avoid injury. lol |

I'll admit that it took me a while to have ANY skillz whatsoever as far as DDR is concerned, but now I can basically do anything heavy (with exceptions). My step-brother is the one who got me addicted, and is teaching me to do freestyle, however he does freestyle on Max 300, so I doubt I will ever be THAT good. I have a question: after playing DDR for at least three hours straight, does anybody everr close their eyes and see arrows? |
Re: DDR Skillz

I do okay at the game. I'm not great but im not bad. I don't pay attention to the feet but I'm okay at it. I can't do any of the songs that are in red or the maniac modes (ddr #1) and some of the ones in purple. (ddr max 2). My highest combo in the game was 436. |
Re: DDR Skillz
|
I can do any song...the 10 footers are like D's... but at least I can get past them... Bag on the other hand...my eyesight is getting worse after every sight of those arrows... i hate it...FAILED! |
Re: DDR Skillz
|
very mediocre... i do standard mainly, and can do some heavy... i just wish my feet could move as fast as my fingers. >.> |

im not the best at ddr, but i can go from stardard to maniac. im usually better around 7-8 steps. anything more than that would probably give me a broken head. |
Re: DDR Skillz

well about BAG . . . i dont know if you knew this or aynthing (im assuming that u do but) put bag heavy x2 speed ... does wonders . . . anywho i just wanted to say that i got passed max 300 heavy for the second time . . .it was a D but i dont care WOOT . . . (i should just stick to freestyling . . . i can do so much more and get kicked out of any arcade twice as fast . . . WHATS SO WRONG ABOUT DOING A MATRIX WALK DURRING A SONG!?! its not goin to kill the machine . . will it ?) |
