Feudal Japan (read 1st post)

This is a InuYasha/Tactics style RP (ie. With Youkai, Hanyou, Gods, Humans with magic etc...) It is set in the feudal era (Sengoku Jidai), the age of samurai, daimyo and shogunate. You can be whatever you want to be, just try not to make yourself invincible. Rules: You can role play as many characters as you want. Please don't control other people's character (ie. "I shoot arrow at you, you die"). If you want your character to have a mysterious past, you don't need to write a bio. If you want to control a minor character, ask the owner of that character first. If you're going to be inactive for a long time (ie. 3 weeks), please try to announce your absence first (it's ok if you can't) Koumiya Rize Breed: Human Power: Aura senseing (low level), shikigami summoning (low level), combating skills (mid-high level) Weapons: Ofuda, knife (aikuchi), tessen (iron fan) Appearance: Mid-back length black hair, tied back with a red ribbon. Dark brown eyes. Dresses in a red hakama and white haroi with red trim. Bio: She came from a poor village, with her father as the village head. Taught by her father, she treats people warmly and sticks up for them, unless they're unjust. She also learned how to fight, trained by the villagers and her father. A few years later, she was sent away to learn the Way of the Gods. She sympathizes with poor commoners and bandits, and as her father comments, her weakness lies in her strength (which is having a strong sense of justice). Sometimes her need to help those in need brings her into unnecessary danger, and she sometimes regrets her rashness. She is searching for her brother, who was reported missing since last winter. [RPing] Koumiya Rize walked towards the small town, shivering. The wind blew hard, and she could see small white flakes whirling all around, some simply fluttering to the ground, others bobbed and weaved in the air, tiny white dancers dancing for the Gods against the gentle radiance of the setting sun. Rize increased her pace. 'Geeze, if I don't hurry up, I'm gonna freeze to death! I want a hot meal and a warm place to sleep tonight! Plus, It's time to restock my suppilies.' Just as she was about to cross the gate to enter the small town, she heard a soft moan of pain, and with a tilt of her head, saw a wounded old man with a young man ('His son, I bet.' she thought.) staggering in a vain attempt to walk towards the gate. 'Aw man, I couldn't leave these poor guys out here! I see if there's anything that I can do.' With this thought, she approached the pair. "Oh, are you all right? What happened?" She asked as she grabbed the injured man's other hand. "We were," wheezed the old man, "Catching fish down that stream. Then... as we were coming home, a young samurai saw us and wanted the fish." 'Oh man, the guy has tears in his eyes now... I bet the samurai hurt him and seized the fish! Selfish Bas-'Rize's thought was abruptly cut-short. "Can you help us, miss?" The younger man asked worriedly. Rize was scared that the old man's life was slipping through his fingers, and nodded. "Sure. What can I do?" She asked urgently. Suddenly the injured man grinned up at her, and Rize felf someting cold against her neck. "Well, miss," Said the young man akwardly. "You can leave us your money. If you refuse... my partner here will er... cut your throat," at this point in time, the 'injured old man' looked up at her. "So what do you say, miss? Please don't make us do it." Rize knew she had to stop these two somehow. She pretended to search for her money, but in reality, she was looking for her ofuda and trusty tessen. When she found the desired objects, she gave herself a seceretive smile, and stuck a binding ofuda onto the older bandit. The man froze, unable to move... 'for 3 minutes only. I'll have to make this quick...' She rushed towards the younger bandit, and hitted him over the head, rendering him unconsious for the time being. Next, she turned back and gave the older bandit a dose of her tessen too. After her successful attack on the two, she proceeded to drag the two prone forms into the city. Upon reaching the city, she payed for their meal ("Take it up to them later.") and rooms for the night in a inn, and went to find shelter for herself. (A/N: I'm going to be away for 3 weeks. Ja!) |

Sure I'll join Name: Ultra Lord (yes, I've returned) Breed: Demon Power: He controls the depths of hell Weapons: None needed Appearance: 8 feet tall and clad in dark armour. Only his burning red eyes are visible. It was a quiet afternoon, birds were chirping by a pond and squirrels were darting from tree to tree. Suddenly the grass began to wilt, and the pond started to steam. A large fracture appeared in the earth and flames shot up. A dark figure climbed out of the fire and stood tall. The sun was gone, dark clouds had appeared. "Hell is no longer big enough for me," said Ultra Lord. He then waved his hand and a firey castle shot up from the earth. "Arise, my minions, we shall take hold of this land as our own"

Still no takers... I'll continue then. Ultra Lord arose from his throne one day and said: "I'm bored, I think I'll go for a walk." He left his castle and started heading east. The land he tread upon died and became barren. He walked for a long time. When he came to a village he would torture its habitants and then burn it to the ground. He forcefuly tore the souls from women and children, and he cast any warriors who tried to stop him into hell (while still alive). "This amuses me," he said to himself, "though I thought there would be stronger humans to oppose me. *wink, wink* Oh well, I'll have to keep killing innocent people for my amusement then."
