"Elfen Lied" is not a Hentai. If it was, it wouldn't have been shown on the non-free Anime Network section on Comcast: on Demand. XD Plus I saw the entire season and there were no actions of

| I don't think it can be considered hentai... All it has is just some nudity scenes, and you wouldn't care about the naked girls anyway, because the action is too cool to miss... I mean, limbs getting ripped apart! If you choose naked girls over that, you need to see a doctor... j/k... :P |

Somehow it's a love story (so I feel) and it's a horror/action-packed anime. @Sai, how...funny! ^_^ If an anime is based on boobs, it's most likely...then a "Hentai" or it would fit into that category. Near in intro, Nyu (spelling?)(Lucy Mode), used her vector (ghost like arms) and grabbed this girl infront of her and the men lined up infront of her, shot only at the girl. Also the pen stabbed right in the dude's ear was cool!! SPARKLE, ELFEN LIED!!! (interesting title as well). Overall, no hentai here.

yea just like wat レン | Ren said lucy would have to get raped visually or have a very detailed sexual intercourse scene for it to be considered hentai... its like when you watch a movie with nudity in it like.... The Godfather or something theres nudity but its anything but porn

Its not hentai, i assume any nudety ismenty to be of the artistic kind. Romantic carnall flesh type imagery, hence the Klimt... Elfen lied is blatantly the japanese tribute to the german and vienese debuached activities sarounding them expresionists. Viva le revoloution, let the bloodshed comence with the ripping off of heads by pubesent children wearing nothing but a chastedy belt around her face.
