hey guys what do u think about .hack going online some people didn't agree with it but what do u guys think about it to me its awesome and 1 more question when is the release date for it in US anyway

from what i've heard its going to be on PC and PS2 and for some reason its only going to be a MORPG not MMORPG thats what i've heard not sure if its true tho

Um....well I heard that .hack//Fragment won't be coming to the U.S.A due to the fact that they think it won't be as popular or something stupid like that. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/.hack//frägment this place has a lot of info. you guys should look there and see. All I know is that ir won't come to the US. GOD THAT SUCKS FOR US!! danm! Ahem! sorry my bad. Sorry to give you bad news but there are petetions on the internet right now if anyone wants to know. Sorry.
I guess you never really know about life until you experience it. I know, most of us are still young so that means we need to enjoy oursevles untill the end. At that point, we should be happy, right?

Well, from what I've heard, .hack//fragment really sucked. So it's almost better that it didn't come over here, only for us to get a bad taste in our mouths. Someday, I'm pretty confident they'll release a good MMORPG version of .hack, in Japan and the US; we'll just have to wait and see. |

| Well you can't blame the japs entirely. If the product was a bigger hit in america, it probably would get release everywhere else as well. Hey you that key of twilght comment? Yeah well since it would first release in Japan, the japanese will have already gotten it. xD |

Ahem, move aside boys, and let a well informed woman explain: .hack//Fragment is an MMORPG set on the universe of the '.hack' franchise. As you can imagine, this version of .hack is a 'beta' so to speak, as 'Fragment' is a beta to 'The World'. It has already been released in Japan some years ago. Now to answer a question, no, .hack/Fragment will NOT come into The US for 'sales and popularity' reasons. Another reason for this is the fact that the character creation and whole around gameplay is lacking compaired to WoW. The gameplay is the same as the origianal 4 .hack games and the character designs are very basic (there are alot of cases in japan where 10 and more characters look exactly the same) so the is a big turn off. And with the new battle system from .hack//GU, a release of .hack/fragment to the US now will just result in total failure (and with the recent update of WoW, The Burning Crusade). Reports from Japan itself shows the declining players that log-in at .hack//fragment. Some servers are rumored to be shut down already (I might be wrong). .hack//Fragment, if you are desperate enough, can be played at select regions in japan. Right now, I will not play it, it will be a waste of my time and money with the outdated graphics and battle system. -Midori-chan

It would so be worth it. I'm thinking about doing the research and getting it imported for myself. I liked the original .hack battle system. Graphics aren't that big of a deal to me. WoW is just too expensive. I want the Altimit OS, though. I wish it really existed, then I could dump this piece of Microsoft I am currently using. When they finally get it out of Beta testing, I would like to see a world wide release of the WORLD. Sales and Popularity... The average american would not know a good game if it bit them on the bum. .hack will live on forever.

If they bring online the same battle system (or better) from .hack//GU it will B perfect. And The same Gaphics (or better). I think is worth waiting. I trust Bandai/Namco. *WELLCOME...TO THE WORLD*ovan.

Well, yeah, like Daimian Nightwing said, it has been announced that there will be no US release of Fragment. The servers in Japan has been put down too. It has also been announced that there will be no other real MMORPG of .hack. (I'd like to provide links for these info, but I lost them)   |
