I just came back from China two days ago! ^.^ Sorry for my long absence! My opinion on China was that I had an exciting adventure. My parents were originally born from China, so I came back to China to visit my relatives. The life style in China is a lot different from America, but a lot similar. It was so hot in China and the air was hard to breathe. If you been to China before, what did you thought about the climate and the life there? |

In middle school the 7th grade did a culture festival thing or "tan" festival.(Don't remember what "tan" stood for) But I did China as my country. I even dressed up as a white version of Confucius. Needless to say, I learn alot of interesting facts about China which I also soon forgot afterwards. Anyone care to refresh my memory. I believe Japan gets a little too much attention here. China is a nice country too, why is this thread so deserted? |

I dunno why. I'm here though. I've family from the mainland and Hong Kong so I'm hoping to meet them too. Yep, my parents are from there too. China would probably be the top 3 places I'd visit. The other 2 being Korea and Germany/Japan. What part of China did you visit Ryoko? I'd expect the air to be hard to breath at first to people who haven't been there in a while. Taiwan is just the same with it's pollution. Mandarin Chinese is finally going to be required in colleges. Yeah! |

The temperatire goes all the way up to 120 degrees. 0_0 Hong was also hot, but I just LOVE the view from my apartment!! ^^ |

Oh, I really wanna go to China! I want to see all the sights and cultural places. I've been to HK and I must say that it's too modernized already. I didn't see much cultural sights there O_o But nevertheless, it was nice ^^ |

~eternaltorture~ I wish I could see celebrities but I wasn't lucky enough to see any. T_T And THANKS for the welcome greetings!! ^^ ~sakura-hime137~ Kaiping was very hot since I sweat everywhere I go and I got a lot of mosquito bites. -_-' I thought Hong Kong was better because I just love the city noises when I go to sleep. It rocks me to sleep. ^^ Thinking about that makes me want to visit China again! ^^ I agree with you, the shop owners are always want s to buy stuff and won't let us leave yet. I bought a lot of DVD and CD since the stuff are cheap in China and the shop owner wouldn't stop convincing me to buy stuff. LOL. XD ~diana~ You should visit China if you have the money to!! ^^ |

China is really cool and close to Japan. They both are very interesting and have fun religious activities and heritage. If the army for China was like the one I saw in HERO (Jet Li; also Chinese), they're enemies could be destroyed in less then a day. *shrugs* I hope China does well in the FIBA World Cup. ^_^ ------- |
