[edit] I'm a fan of MINMI. She's done some excellent songs in her career so far, even though I've only heard a few. Three of them from the anime, Samurai Champloo (Shiki no Uta, Ai no Mi, and Who's Theme). All of those three songs are really good. She reminds me of Lia in a way, only MINMI's a bit less famous. None-the-less, still love her. :3

I just love MINMI! GO MINMI! She's just such a talented artist and her voice is beautiful! Those three songs of hers from Samurai Champloo are my favs! Keep singing MINMI!

DA, Sha na na is on that CD, its the 1st track, 2. I Love You Baby 3. Lotta Love (m-flo loves MINMI) 4. CHERRY BLOSSOM 5. NANDE 6. MY SONG 7. Aozora 8. Kiseki no Kurisumasu Song 9. Stay With Me 10. Aisuru Toiu Koto 11. I Love You Baby feat. Morgan Heritage 12. Lotta Love (vibes mix) (m-flo loves MINMI) The Love Song Collection 2006-2007 was released in November. Methinks most (if not all) of these songs are probably on Imeem.com, if anyone wants to listen. And I agree about the Samurai Champloo music, Shiki no Uta especially, is my favorite song by MINMI. And for those that don't kno who m-flo is, they used to be a trio. After their lead singer left to pursue a solo career, the duo now mainly cllaborates with other artists. Usually when they collaborate, like on the song Lotta Love, instead of saying "featuring m-flo" they say "m-flo loves MINMI (or whatever artist they are collaborating with)". |

I saw the one clip of "Lotta Love" live. It was some summer festival concert or something, I forget but it's old. There's that one "rare" "Shiki no Uta" live, too, and other than that nothing else. I'm not sure if it's the right song, but I think she did an english version for "I Love You Baby" or something. And last note, yes, I know who m-flo is. ^_~`

Wait, it's on that album you're talking about. Track #11: I Love You Baby ft. Morgan Heritage. Here's the two versions. The PVs look similar: And the english version featuring Morgan Heritage is here. I think her voice is a bit better in the english one.

| ah shweet! i hadnt listened to all of those songs yet, so i hadnt heard it. but i agree about the English one i like her voice better on that one. I only wish she was more popular in the states. I let some of mah friends listen to some of her music and they loved it. But if we ever wanted to buy a cd, we'd have to buy it online, no one around here sells her cds... T_T |

Well that's mostly how everyone gets musical CDs from Japan, online. I think MINMI looks beautiful, yet also hot in those videos. She needs to do more anime songs or something though.

I agree Hikky, Shiki no Uta is kinda tricky to sing (or even just to learn the words for someone like me who doesnt know much japanese~ :3), but its definitely 1 of mah fav songs. Mah favorite part of the song would have to be the part that starts out "kimi ni yori nana..." and theres a sax solo that comes in behind it and then leads into "oikaze sakebu seijaku wo kowasu no..." ♥ ♥ i just LURVV it!! ♥ ♥ |

I learned how to sing shiki no uta! It was very hard thoughh... I'm japanese is getting some what fluet so it gets easier.. |
