Right now, huh?... You can basically choose any anime almost that has girls. XD Love Hina is a good one. Ikki Tousen, Ai Yori Aoshi, and Tenjou Tenge are really Ecchi These are some from a LOT!!

Ecchi is like "sexual scenes" You know...panty shots O.O, shots at the "chest" O.O, etc... not hentai though...

Ecchi does not involve (explicit) sex scenes as someone suggested, that would be hentai if it did. Still, ecchi is sort of like hentai on a lesser scale. There could be suggestive scenes, usually a lot panty shots and the like, and general perverted behavior. I do not consider Love Hina and Ai Yori Aoshi as ecchi shows, as they do not push that aspect of the action. Rather they are shounen romantic comedies, or possibly you could call them bishoujo anime. I wouldn't really place Kashimashi under this heading either. A few of the other ones mentioned above are good examples though, such as Girls Bravo or Inukami. Also I would add Lime-iro Senkitan, Green Green, He is My Master, Hanaukyo Maid Tai, and Najica Blitz Tactics. IIRC, the origin of the word and usage of ecchi itself comes from the Japanese pronunciation of the English letter "H". When you see something referred to as an H-game, the H is meant as "ecchi", not necessarily hentai (though frequently it still may be). Finally, for the sake of correctness, Ikki Tousen was created by Yuji Shiozaki, Tenjho Tenge by Oh Great, and Ai Yori Aoshi by Kou Fumizuki.  |

Yeah I modified it, thanks. Ikki Tousen was created from the creators of Ai Yori Aoshi and something, something TV. I forget that 2nd anime though. ...something like that anyways.

JC Staff produced the animation for both AYA and Ikki Tousen, that's probably what you were thinking of. They do a lot of great work, as evidenced by the list here. |

Well then, I wanna recommend you guys watch "Girl's High" A.K.A "Joshikousei". The Lime-subs who subbed it was right about their slogan about this anime "Too many panties, so little time" (smirk) edit Oh, right. I just remembered. She The Ultimate Weapon is actually kinda ecchi, you know. And... The last episode of Excel Saga titled "yarisugi" = "overdone" is by all means, IT WAS CRAZY ECCHI, NO, HENTAI PERHAPS!!! Bloody! |
