i just saw the first couple of episodes, holy crap this show is so funny! ^_^ it was on my friend's digital cable so it was english dubbed, i wonder if the subbed version is as funny. a lot of the funnier jokes have references to american things or celebrities. i can't help but wonder if the jokes are directly translated or if they originally poke fun at japanese celebrities and just changed it for american audiences. anyway it's really silly, i quite like it :) considering the characters are all kids in elementary school, some of the stuff they say is pretty shocking, which is part of the humour. "why do principals always look like lesbians?". oh man. and the little bible thumper, she's hilarious. anyone else enjoying this one as much as me? and anyone know if it's on dvd in north america yet? :)  |
