My guilty pleasure is defenitley Zatch Bell. I'd rather people know I watch Angel Sanctuary with all its incest than this supposed "kiddie" anime. But it's a REAL GOOD show, nothing like those Pokemon-type animes. There are a lot of original characters and they have a wide variety of emotional dispositions, and I haven't cared about characters like that in a long time. It's episodes are sometimes very dramatic in a real life way too, like this one episode where one of the characters was bullied at school and actually returned to destroy it, and crazy emotional stuff followed... Does anyone else have love for this show out there? |

Well if that is the case this is the English "Gash Bell" thread, cuz in the U.S., we might be watching a severly edited series, and it has an American fanbase now- let me ask you a question, in the episode where Brago (Gravity mamodo, with wealthy blonde girl?) saves the boy and his grandpa from the bear, Brago kept saying he knocked the bear out but made no mention of killing him, though it looked dead; did he say he did in the original version? BTW Arcshiki doesn't Buri remind you of a fighting game character in the way he acts, always searching for the reason to fight? |

| I have to also say this series is also my guilty pleasure. I enjoy watching the original sub version, though I do watch the dub when it's on. I don't know why but I like this series, even if it is "kiddy". There's just something about it... I don't know what though. And all the characters are so wacky and overemote over things. |

| I LOVE Gash Bell x.x The english version honestly isn't that bad for a cut show, there are ones that have been butchered more, such as Card Captor Sakura where three part episodes were pushed into one. Either way, Gash Bell is one of those shows that people assume sucks due to the dub, but it's really good, I love the way Ikue Otani portrays Gash's emotions X3 |
