Koi Kaze - taboo?

I just finished watching the anime Koi Kaze (Love Wind) and I must say it was a fantastic anime! But it deals with some very taboo themes... incest (as in love between blood siblings) and divorce (the 8th episode, concerning Koushirou's parent's divorce, was not aired by TV Asahi). Very realistic, mature, and well-done. What does everyone think about this anime? Do you think the topics it explores are too taboo? Can art of animation explore what society considers "profane"? |
