GIFs in Photoshop
Link | by Terror on 2006-06-18 18:12:33 (edited 2006-06-18 18:12:47)
I'm trying to make a animated GIF in photoshop, but it only gives me the option of saving it as a "copy", and it won't animate. Can someone tell how do do this?

I've got no idea how to do it in Photoshop. In GIMP however...
Maybe I should get around to writing that GIMP guide...

.....ok.

I'm searching through the help right now and I'm getting lost. I'm going to be here a little while so, if anyone knows, please try and help me. Thx.

Ok, all I need help on now is saving it as a Gif.

~I keep getting a message when I try to save it a certain way about how it can only save the seleted frame. I'm really confused. There isn't even a GIF option to save it as...

NVM, got it. Thx for pointing me to the program.

Final Edit: Look below or here. Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting I know it's bad.

Gamani's gif movie gear. Trial version expires after 30 days, but you can just adjust your clock settings and set it back to when you first downloaded it (best adjust it whenever you want to use it)

I use a program called Neopaint, but it also a 30 day trial, but technically you can use it for longer unless they updated the trail version...

if you're going to make animated gifs with trial products,i suggest not to.as what psoplayer mentioned, using GIMP is much better.it's also free and quite easy to use.
