"According to the commentary in book 1 of the Gundam SEED novels, Fukuda once made Soichiro (Kira's seiyu) cry when he commented that though Kira was the main character, he might not survive to the end. This refers to how SEED was originally meant to end - Kira was supposed to die killing Le Creuset, Flay was supposed to be a human bomb that took out the Archangel, and Athrun was meant to lose a limb (though like many other of the original ideas that Fukuda had [such as Flay being the original pilot of Strike Rouge], these were discarded and never used)." *NOTE* all of these informations are official.  |

Well...he sure changed his mind about the first ending....I mean look at GS DESTINY ...! He would have made alot less money if he sticked with the old plot *laughs*

wow if that would have the ending it sure would be tragic, sure i like the part where where Flay was going to be a human bomb (sorry but i really hate that girl) but i dont want archangel to end up that way. i guess were fortunate not to have the original plan for the ending.
