If this is in the wrong section, you may move it. Anyone know any other forums that run on HTML? I'm started to get interested in the tags. |

All websites "run on HTML". Most forums escape all user-inputted text for fear of malformed or malicious code. I chose not to escape HTML code in posts and nicknames because I think its cool to let people play with it. However, people sometimes mistype their HTML tags and screw things up! *ahem* Still, I think its worth it. No, I do not know any other forums that do this. Some sites, like myspace and xanga, do allow you to put HTML into your profile. What is your favorite HTML Tag? ![]() ![]() ![]() |

There are other forums that uses BBcode too, but html is better. ![]() |

And even if the front end "runs on html," you still have to have some form of scripting on the server side to store the posts. If this is not necessary and a forum can truly run entirely on html, please tell me how this can be accomplished.

HTML tags are pretty fun to know. But one little mistake like putting the / in a wrong place, or not at all, can mess up your entire Tag, depending on how much stuff you put in it. ![]() ------- |

Actually you cannot do so much with html. Try php or vb.net scripting and you will find web programming fun :-). Since html alone is not enough to provide a dynamic web page.
