I don't think Gendou has a system for screening requests, other than the exact title, anime, and artist for a song that hasn't been released yet. Even that system has flaws, because Japanese release dates are about a day ahead from where I live. When the Gendou release date for a single is posted as, say, the 30th of April, even though it's the 30th of April in Japan, it's still the 29th where I live, in Florida, so I shouldn't be able to request the song. I've beaten this system by submitting a song using an alternate title for the series, such as Mysterious Girlfriend X instead of Nazo no Kanojo X, but I wonder if I should have to learn how to overcome this issue. Uhm, but Gendou and its staff work hard, so I don't know if I should be suggesting stuff they could fix;;

...But most of the requests that broke the "Don't ask before the actual song is released" rule aren't made just one or two days from the actual release date though. Most of those requests I've seen were made more than a week before the actual release date, sometimes even a month, so there's no excuse on the requester's part as far as that goes for most of the cases...Tbh, I don't really consider the difference in timezone to be so much of a flaw on their part. After all, that actually couldn't be helped, really. It's more of people not caring to even follow the rules and the staffs end up promoting those actions by letting them pass the check so easily that's the problem. So, tbh, I'll suggest that the staffs either make an extra page just to screen-check people's requests, like ask them to confirm that the song they're requesting isn't the same as the songs below, or take more time into reviewing people's request, at least just to make sure that they're not requesting something that's already requested or uploaded. Give some kind of punishment to people who break the rules, like they'll not be allowed to request anything for some times or something. Reinforce people to follow the rules more...otherwise, just take out all the rules, since all of them are pointless if no one is going to follow them and you actually promote people that broke the rules anyway. -_-" |

All of the requests are looked at manually, and are handled by specific members of this site. Please just report anything you see to help those users out, and move on. There's no need to discuss it, as these things happen.  |
