(I was bored, and a new member recently joined Gendou.com (congrats), and my 'brother' made his comment (introducing yoursself threads) reguarding, Otaku's so here we are to find out other people's opinions). I'm not calling anyone out to defend themselves, this is only an OPINIONATIVE THREAD TOPIC! XD Basically, do you Like Otaku's or Hate 'em? Disagree or Agree. Etc.... Besides O.K. not liking them (DER, Otaku-KILLER!!), I also do not agree with them. It is ok to be a huge fan, or the worlds number one fan, but is it that necessary to purchase thousands of dollars of stuff you can only brag to other people saying im an "Otaku"? I guess it's ok too, if you own a Manga/Comic book store or something. Those type of people live off being Otaku's to sell their stuff. What do you guys think? (DON'T LOOSE YOUR COOL!! LOL!!)

With that said, I guess not ALL Comic/Manga Store Owners aren't Otaku's. (gomen if I called you dad an Otaku in anyway!). What kinda of Comics does you dad sell? I think that's pretty cool! Do you get free ones, lol!! *giggles!!!*

Ahh, i knew he would be the first to reply here... Well, i'm ok with otakus, i have otaku friends too, three of them, that is, because they're not too extreme in being one... But yeah, sometimes they're annoying, a bit too childish... What i'm not ok with are those crazy otakus, for example, the one DAngel mentioned, spending thousands of dollars just to brag meaningless stuffs... Can't they live without those things? I kinda hate people who waste money for nothing, so may otaku-killer slay them extreme otakus for the sake of sanity throughout the world...-_- |

There are very few anime fans at my school, but almost all of them are Otaku. I like anime, but I don't spend like thousands of dollars on crap, nor do I do cosplay. I woulnd't mind experiencing it once, but well. I am sick of my immature little friends and shit. They bug me until I am about ready to like shoot myself in the head.

Haha, that was halarious. Actually, it was sad, when they were in the shopping mall, where "anthony" was trying on the maid dress, I recognized that Meteor from Gundam Seed was playing. I hope that doesn't mean I am Otaku.

Otakus are scary and a bit geeky so I don't like them much. I don't hate them either, in fact, I really don't mind anything about them, let them do what they want.  |
