I am making this thread to see how many people here are animal lovers. I want to know what is the most beneficial thing you have done to either save an animal's life or to find a home for an unwanted pet. I for example spend from 4pm-7pm on the weekend volunteer at an Animal Foster Network and help find homes for unwanted animals. This work makes me feel like I am making a difference in someone live and helping a pet find a great home. I even took a kitten that was two month old who if put in a shelter would die because she is too young for her shots. So I will be keeping her for a month until she is old enough and able to find a good home.

That's a very honourable job.. keep up the good work, D Grave I for one really love dogs... as you can see from my sig... 3 out of 4 of my dogs are unwanted dogs... but I really luv them coz they are all so cute... and so smart too... ^_^

Well I haven't saved an animal yet, but I think I saved a puppy before. It was hurt or something, so my friend and I brought it back to his house to cure it or something, idk! I kill bugs though, they annoy me, being all little acting if I can't notice them. *SQUASHH!!* I hate those dust bugs, they leave their mark on my wall though I don't consider bugs Animals...

This weekend I found homes for 7 Kittens and help even found their mom a home with a grandmother.If anyone lives in the New york area and wants to get a animal go to www.Brooklynanimalfosternetwork.org.Please try to save a animals life and adopt.

| i always take care of my dogs when i am in malaysia like by bringing them to the animal clinic when they are sick and not just leaving them as they were.So yeah i guess i am also an animal lover as well^^ |

I'm an animal lover myself. My first choice of job is to become a veterinarian. But I guess it will only be a dream from now on. -.-  |

Animal lover? Well, I guess I'm an animal lover. I remember feeding a starving kitten once, but I don't know what happened to it now...

I love animals! I like dogs but I'm not too fond of cats. At the moment I have 3 st. bernards, 2 jap. spitz, a pomeranian and a cat. But I'm irritated with the barking and meowing, I was once pushed to the brink of tears because of the noise, it makes my head hurt and I just can't stand it....
