Fruits Basket Ending

Did anyone else find the Furuba anime ending dissapointing? I watched every episode in 2 days (on dvd) and the ending seemed hollow. . . somehow. You don't find out who Tohru ends up with!! Waaaaaaaaaaa!! Anyhoo, how do you think it should have ended if you didn't like the ending? I think Tohru should have hooked up with Kyo. ^_~. She shouldda adopted Momiji when he she wa older, too (even though he's her age tee hee) |

yeah i was really disapointed there are many more manga books and the adventure doesnt end there they shouldve gone on w/ the story T_T

| yeah the ending seemed confusing to me to. but the books tell more after the last show. And i was surfing the net once and found a pic. of kyo kissing tohru and the pic was scannedin japan. so i tinks its a definite that kyo will end up with tohru. but too bad for yuki since he told her he loved her. =(yeah the ending seemed confusing to me to. but the books tell more after the last show. yeah the anime was bad with the ending but it was pretty good with the akito scene. nice and scary. i think the manga ending will definatly be better with the summary in number 13 about number 14. i want 14!!!!!!!

The ending was short and abrupt. But I believe that the anime was different from the original manga…as some of the characters weren’t introduced in the anime from the manga. But unlike the anime that ended after 26 episodes the manga is still carrying on… and I think Kyo will end up with Tohru and Yuki with someone else…..

| yeah...the ending to it leaves it up in the air...even though the anime is good...I prefer the manga because there's more to it than what they show in the anime... |

i prefer the manga. the anime should show more. they didnt even finish introducing all the 12 animals lahh caan. and the new student council was not included too. /: i would like to see the sorta-like cinderella story in anime... the manga was funny and i think the anime would do even better for that part. |

Well if you think about it there was no real story just about the zodiac curse.the ending was sad kinda if it was like the book it might of been better and alot longer.  |

Yeah. The manga is better. It tell us about the end completely. It must be. Since I never find the manga over #14 in my country. But most of ppl told me that. Kyo will be with Tohru. And Yuki with Machi. That's becoz, Yuki only love Tohru as his mother. That's why.... ![](\"/images/zap_sig.gif\") |

The rumor of a second season has been going around for years now. I don't think that it will ever happen. The ending is like that because it has been rearranged from the manga. In the manga, the cat-demon thing happened a little bit earlier than that. I think it would have taken place around ep. 20 or so if taken directly from the manga, but here's the thing - the anime series needed to end and it was much better and gave a better resolved ending to have it end with the cat-demon story arc, than to have it just fade away with an everyday life story. In the manga, yes it continues on. We also meet the two remaining zodiacs. We also find out several things about Akito that makes it seem even more messed up.

I really like Fruits Basket. I can watch it over and over. I still didn't feel like the ending was really all that good. It left me with questions and in small ways, here and there, left it open for a second season. It would be great if they did make another season. I'm sure that the story could have gone on much longer then it did. I was waiting for the curse to be broken and see the last zodiac animals since they left some out. I guess I'll just have to read the manga  |

okay as i see furubas here discussed is from the anime....but and the manga!?!?!? HERE I WILL SAY! best ending ever! if the anime has a second season it sure will be great :D share your thoughts about the ending of the manga ^^   |
