OMG! i just heard this from a friend that BLEACH is going to be on Adult Swim!!! DAMN!! they're gonna ruin the anime just like they had ruin naruto!!!!! O.O!! T-T

Do you mean the Regular Adult Swim or the Late night Adult Swim that starts at 11 (Sundays at 10, American Dad, Family Guy)? I also herd if they will air BLEACH, they will not show FMA anymore T-T and I haven't finished with it yet. Naruto is on the Reg. Adult Swim Regular Adult Swim - where mostly 10 yr olds can watch and are not aloud to stay up late... Late Adult Swim - starts at 11 and shows more anime including GITS-SAC, FMA, Samurai Champloo, Trigun, Cowboy Bebob, a long ass InuYasha Series, and Eureka 7 (new anime, love it so far!). Sometimes, they will mix up the animes, and put on like Trigun for Cowboy Bebow and Samurai Champloo (repeated, it's on episode 3 this week) for Neon Genesis EVAngelion!

I don't think Cartoon Network ruined Naruto at all. Sure, the manga is alot better then the T.V. show, but I personally like seeing the show to see the action scenes much better. I also think that adult swim did a very good job with Fullmetal Alchemist, as that show kicked ass. a few other adult swim successes: 1. Ghost in the Shell 2. Cowboy Bebop 3. Gundam Seed 4. Inuyasha (even though I hate it) 5. Chuck Norris and the Karate Commandos (yes it is a show, it was aired on adult swim on April 1st)

as you can tell from our two posts (so far anyways), these animes were great, but they were on the late adult swim. Weekdays, I dont know what they air because I go to bed, but they have Evangelion and new Samurai Champloo sometimes. And what ever happened to the boondocks, nomore new episodes? Boondocks was on the late adult swim (sunday) also.

lol, ...uhh *sweatdrop* Would boondocks be considered an part anime, because it was created by the japanese, but also had a rap/hip hop tone with it also. But if it was just an amine (american cartoon - a word i created, lol) then it's one of america's best cartoons.

dam... all these good shows... ESPECIALLY BLEACH >.< i just HAD to get detected by Direct TV people and i got ALL my Direct TV programs, statlites, Recivers, Card, Card editor, computer program(yes i did all these building stuff wit my dad and it WORKED) CONFISCATED >.< (fines of $5000 for having free satilite, so dont try what i did) PS. i live in canada PSS. Direct TV is ONLY for usa

Boondocks was originaly a cartoon strip in the newspapers.....heh....newspapers (so archaic) Anyway, I think not calling it an anime based on the fact that it has a hip-hop opening would be saying that Samurai Champloo isn't an anime. I don't personaly consider it an anime, but I can see why someone would call it an anime.

@HongyNgyWongy, Direct TV has nice channels, but isnt reg cable and comcast on demand against Direct have differnt channels. Like my 54 (adult swim, cartoon network) would be like your 345 cartoon network channel, adult swim channel. They're the same network, just different channels. @Shikimaru, Boondocks, an anime or not, is still a very nice show. Huey (one with Afro, you can remember H in huey for hair, the way I see it, lol) talks really politically. I like the way he talks, it makes him look more demanding them much older people. The show is mostly a comedy. When I first saw the episode about the 30 year absence adn reutnr of the King, I was flipping out. lol. The intro for Samurai Champloo and The Boondocks are both by hip-hop/rap artists. I have both the songs, though I wished that the boondocks intro was longer, but sometimes TV edits are much better, but having the feeling of a full song makes you feel more of liking the intro completely. One of my favorite lines, is the first line when he says.. I am the stone that the builder refused... that was nice, if you listen to the whole song, it will make sense to you then. ^_^ But back no BLEACH, Naruto was ok, im starting to watch it, could become a fan very soon people! But if BLEACH is shown on Adult Swim (I hope and think it will), BLEACH will be very nice. Question: do you know when BLEACH will air!?

I am in complete agreement on Boondocks. Huey is the man and I think the whole show is very well done. First one I saw was with the blind man that Huey considered to be the "Blind Swordsman". I have never seen BLEACH, but from what I hear, it is very good and I will look into it, but I really hope it comes to Adult Swim so I can watch it.

BLEACH was very well done, yet I seen episodes that were random, like episode 5, then seeing episode 11, something like that. BLEACH is good, from when I saw those out-of-order episodes, lol. I remember that episode too. Robert Freeman aka Grandad, was fighting that blind guy, and 'accidentally' killed him because from before, the blind guy make grandad look like a joke. They were all very sad in the end of that ep.. to settle things straight, If they do show BLEACH on Adult Swim, I hope it's the one on Saturday so I can watch the whole series correctly, first to last episode in correct order! ^_^

they did good on fooly cooly trigun cowboy bebop evangelion .......i bought all those dvd's so i doont need adult swim anymore cartoon network mutilated naruto... i fear the same for bleach... inuyasha was unsalvagable from the beggining anyways...  |

I think it's just different in that you aren't taken to another page....... Anyway, I agree with the multilation of Naruto. The filler episodes are just a little much for someone who just wants people to get on with the plot already....... and although I /can/ watch it without cringing at Naruto's voice (in English) now, it really took me a while to be able to do so, and I personally think that they could have found a much better person to do the job.

with Samurai Champloo, that was created from Geneon (USA), I think they mean it was made here first, then prolly dubbed into Japanese and sent over. Somethings I hate about shows on adult swim is that you waited a whole week until saturday you see your fave. anime, or of that night, then you find out it's a repeated ep. Those are also annoying. Plus I hate all those other crappy shows. WTF is Roboy Chicken. I've seen previews for new ep's, that can go to hell! WTH would create a show like that, let alone fan's watching it? Fans? how do you become a fan? you can't draw it, atleast I dont think since they're using like action figures or something with animated mouths. I deeply apologize for people who like Robot Chicken *thinks...* *I also just did this reply by using the 'quick reply' button. pretty neat*

i agree robot chiken is lame..... the boondocks is a decent show.... futurama and family guy.....do i need to say more? i think all the other comedy shows arent so good...so i stopped watchin adult swim .getting off topic.... the point is bleach is too long to be aired on adult swim.... they can never air all the naruto episodes....it has too much filler, and people would lose interest sooner or later inuyasha has been on for long, but inuyasha sucked anyway... some die hard fans might disagree, but i say that there are places to download episodes, and it would be dumb to wait for cartoon network to air a certain episode someone may like |

yeah, like right now (almost 11.30, a show called the Oblongs is going on). I haven't a clue!? Personnally I like watching Futurama/Family guy and I know anime is still the BEST EVER period, but comedy shows are sometimes interesting to watch, because in both of these shows, they use american history, and I can follow along quite easily. @Itachi, did you ever watch Adult Swim on Saturday. I remember back back long ago, they showed Yu Yu Hakusho, uncensored (not extreme echi, but alot of cursing). That show is killer with cursing, and not bad without, but the name calling is kinda young and outdated by a margin.
