Freak the Mighty is about two boys, a weak, though intelligent boy who can't walk correctly, and a strong and giantesque boy. The two become best of friends, the intelligent boy riding on the shoulders of the strong boy. When they wal This was also a movie. Don't remember much about the book, but I do seem to remember the movie. |

| Still a bit of a stretch. I think you'd want to get out of the action genre for that one. One thing I remember about Freak the Mighty is they always went on adventures in imagination. |

I've read that- I think it was a cute book. The movie's a bit odd, but cute as well.
