I've got an IMToo video to audio converter that does pretty much any video format into audio formats such as .mp3, .wav etc. The trial version that you can download only lets you rip 5 minutes of audio from the beginning of the video- you can't choose when to start or end- but since I only really rip music from AMVs, it really isn't that much of a hindrance in my case.

I've told others about this program. http://www.xilisoft.com/video-converter.html It has a free trial version, but just look for a serial key and you can crack it easily. It converts almost every format of video I know of into any other format, and from any audio codec into any other too. Plus, if you select a video (like an MPEG file) and choose to convert it into an audio codec, then it will rip the audio out of it. It's really simple to figure out.
