Kino's Journey (Kino no Tabi)
|
Anything familiar about this? One of my favorite animes of all time. Rather unique, since it came from a novel and there's not exactly a bit of storyline. It's about a girl who travels around the world (Kino) who encounters different countries with different origins and civilization. There are wars, dangers and corrupted countries. She travels with a talking motorcycle named Hermit (correct me if I'm wrong, I haven't seen this anime for months). She uses a gun for self-defense (quite useful and I love it when she fights) All in all, in this anime series, it contains, short "parables" I think. It's all about philosophy and life. They use big words, so it requires deep thinking about morality and...er...meh! if you wanna find out more -> http://www.kinosjourney.com/ |

I love this anime. Kino is my favorite female character ever. Even though I don't like disjointed stories, Kino no Tabi pulls it off because its kind of like a travel journal. And in the last episode, I did cry. I'm going to watch the movie and read the novels. :] |
