I miss Japan...

I was born in Misawa Japan, My father being Filipino and my mother being half japanese. So i've lived in Japan for my first 8 years of living and was taught Japanese as my first langauge and english as my secondary (some tagalog too ^^). So currently, i'm in the U.S, age 19 and english became my main langauge and the worst part is... I completely forgot how to speak Japanese! >.< Anyway to the point... even thought I didn't know much about Japan about the time (Or what was going on because I was so darn little) after studying about it and hearing stories from my mother. I MISS JAPAN *sigh*

Currently in Tokyo huh? ^^ I've only been there twice and I barely remember the visits, I just remember people were always busy there and lots of stores! Oh... and out of curiosity, are you enjoying your stay there?

No offense Otaku-Killer, but you sound kinda miserable. I can't cook at all, and when I lived in Japan with my boyfriend, it was hard satisfying him cause I couldn't cook to save my life. And he didn't cook either. I tried really hard but I failed miserably (he wouldn't eat my cooking anyway). So I'd end up eating out a lot when I was by myself, or we would get bento together. You should go get bento, there are lots of good places that are healthy...

Japanese life was hard, but it was also okay.. I do miss a lot about Japan. I lived there for 2 years. I miss the trains the most, because in America you NEED a car.. and my family can't afford a new car, we only drive used crappy cars.. so I really miss trains right now.

I miss Japanese life in general.. but I had a lot of stress too. I think if I go back there again ever.. I won't have a Japanese boyfriend. ^_~ LOL Japanese men.. turn into big babies. They can't do ANYTHING the moment a woman moves in (be it mother, sister, friend, girlfriend, fiance, wife). At least, from my observances, that's how I see it. And being American woman.. no way I am putting up with that!

And i cooked sometimes......So whats up with your prob saying Japanese men are like that....We have Bullet train for Long travels and have the TTS(Tokyo Train Services) I prefer a bicycle then a train i hate crowds.......

Don't get me wrong, Japanese people really know how to let loose and have fun (especially when out drinking), but once they're out of college and turn into salary men, that's about it for Japanese men. If they can't hold on to that free, fun-loving spirit they had in college... stay away from them, ladies.

I find that men who own their own businesses or are in a non-office environment for work are a lot more happier, fun-loving and NORMAL than salary men.
