I can not draw that well so I can not do manga. My first story I finish was 30 pages long typed. It was about a young man who just recently lost his mother and has a father who is to busy working to get to know his own son. Some of my work got publish in magazines. But my goal is to write and publish a noval. My story focuss on the building of their relationship through 1999-2004.

I also like to write stories. I've never pusblished a novel before, but that's my goal... and I hope that I'll be able to do that as soon as possible... ^^

I write novels, and printed them, but I've never actually publish it officially, and sell it to the market... ^^

I'm a writer. I'm about to start work on a webcomic (I can't draw, either, I'm going to leave that to somebody else :D), and I've been doing various odds and ends, like short stories, for a while now. I've just recently started up my writing again.

I've also started my own video game project, and am going to be doing the work on that for some time to come, writing, of course XD

Hmm..I'm also a writer. Had wrote few stories but never got published.. If I was given the chance, I would like to publish almost everything I created-!!

Only one thing is my weakness, my grammar and the tense I used. The timeline is so not okay. The plot is there and the story flows..

I mostly into writing characters profile than writing a story based on it. I already have a few chaptes though..

I also like to write stories and novels, though I've never been able to publish them.

Last year I've joined a writing contest hosted by Neil Gaiman (I think...), but too bad I've never been able to pass any submissions due to my busy schedules and homework...(sigh...)

I would love to be a published author one day. I've taken a few classes on how to develop character and how to tie up plot holes. I only write on and off but I do work better under a deadline. ^^; So I guess I need the classes to force me to get to business.

frustrated that is... hehe...

i was a feature and editorial writer in the school organ (from elementary to high school) but i had a recognition in copywriting and headlining.

i'd been writing stories since i was 11 years old. usually in script format because i wanted then to be a movie writer. in high school, when all of my friends got addicted to romance novels, then i did novels too. but i am not so into romance so i decided to put some action. i write suspense thriller and detective type of stories. i had also written some drama. but during those years, i'm more into writing articles about anything under the sun. that passion built up when i was in college when i did research writing with radical analysis. i had created a plot for a radical novel about a young activist and her love life, but unfortunately i was and still am too lazy to finish even a single story. they're all written in scratch papers, excess leaves of used notebooks, etc. and my mother burned them all because my place's chaotic.

right now, i am writing a story for our manga. and it's my first time. i'm not sure if i could finish this one but if i would, this will also be my first finished story.

i like to write but my junk always comes out like a history style thing.
and my characters are always bad...i always want to kill them off bc they get useless and boring.
any suggestions/tips on not killing off characters? (obviously they're important to the story :) )

One thing is don't explain your characters too much. If you do it will get boring very very fast. In my characters I explained my favourite traits of them. I have a fetish for eyes, so I focus on the eyes and I also like hair. So usually that to.

Also, another tip I leanrned from my brother, who learned it from Stephen King (I think) Is, after you are done typing/writing your book. Put it away for a couple months and forget about it ^_^

When you find it again then read it and see just how weird it sounds. You will see all of your mistakes, or wrong dsescriptions. It is a very useful tool. Try it out if you want. It has worked for me everytime ^_^

Torture's 4th bit of advice is actually rather good. Put them in a death scene :P It'd probably be good practice to work with, in some ways.

i can write anything and everything you want me to with a style that you will either not understand or see that it blows your mind.

i take pride in the fact that i am a better writer than most, though at the same time, i am not confident in what i do. i strive to be different from everyone else, strive to find the words to make your dreams feel as though they come true.

i could paint you a picture using only words, create a whole new world in which ill make sure you lose yourself in within moments of engagement.

in my opinion, a good story introduces the characters as they go along. you write their development from how they already behave from the first page you read to the last, as well as for surrounding characters.

you read the works of others and find one you admire to give you inspiration.

i want my creativity to one day rival neil gaimans, my style to destroy chuck palahniuk. however, i have never read palahniuk a day in my life.

a friend of mine told me i am quite similar.

ill be the stars if youll be the sky.

I write poems. I also write short stories but I am not sure if those short stories that I wrote are good ones. ^.^
