i hate bush also,..if i could vote,..i would never vot for that a hole the reason y i dont like bush is because he keeps on sending troops over seas and my cousin is gonna die because of that stupid decision he made. ill say it again,...I HATE GEORGE W. | I can't completely rule on Bush and politics b/c I really don't know too much about it..hard to find impartial sites...But, Lassad-san, I understand the troop-sending...My cousin and aunt could end up going over there if the war doesn't stop or something close to that....I really hope they don't go over >.<...........And I hope your cousin doesn't die.. |

I don't know how much any of you know about the american political system but Bush can't be re-elected again anyway. At most, a president can only serve 2 4-year terms and Bush is already over a quarter of the way throuh his second term. One way or another, after the election of 2008 there will be a new face in office. |

wow! only 4 years. ours is 6 years. if i remember it right, a filipino president can also serve 2 consecutive 6-year terms. damn! plus, they can extend it using our very vague constitution. with this vagueness, a president can still run for the same position after his/her 2 consecutive terms given that the third term is preceded by different administration. wtf? good thing, no one had the guts yet. and so far, only marcos had won the election in 2 consecutive 6-year terms and was extended by his declaration of martial law. anyway, new face in the office? someone lesser or more evil than bush, perhaps. whoever rules america and whatever policies he/she implements, my country and my people are very much affected. that's why american election is a matter for us, filipinos.  |

I actually don't mind Bush. I am also Canadian so I don't realyl have to worry about him. Everone makes mistakes right? He jsut isn't fit for the job is all. Paul Matin and Jean Cretien are complete fags who weren't fit for the job either. Bush also kidna has a bad name with the Terrorist Attacks/911 and so on. I think things will turn around.

(which is impossible though... but that doesnt mean people have to be sacrificed! ^_^) i can only hope for the best. just as gij said, "my country and my people are very much affected". you americans arent just choosing a leader for your nation, your affecting our nation as well... so, good luck to us all!
