my download count

| One small thing I have a problem with is the fact that this joint can trace my downloads, but not my uploads. That's harsh, considering I've uploaded about the same amount that I've downloaded. Is there a way to keep track of uploaded data by members? |

if i implemented a system by which uploads were counted as well, people would upload trash in order to improve their upload count. however, i have been considering implementing an upload "merit" based system whereby merits would be given by myself in thanks for each uploaded file that i actually USE on the site. however, this seems like a lot more work for me, which would less time adding songs and more time giving merit points. i would rather focus 100% of my free time on adding songs to the database. if you can think of a system that encourages people to upload useful (requested) songs only, that does not take extra time for me, than please tell me.

| Thanks for the Reply Gendou. I understand the time strain a system like that would put you under. If you had a bunch of elves helping you, it wouldn't be so bad lol. Especially if they were addicted to coffee and insomniacs! *ponders* I wish I could help come up with a viable solution, btu the best I can do right now is quiet down and take it like a man lol |
