theory of everything

| I recently bumped into this tv show discussing the TOE or theory of everything. It discusses the four fundamental forces (gravity, strong and weak nuclear force, electromagnetism..) and I was bothered because it had a very wide scope that it made me dizzy. the string theory is apparently under the TOE so, can someone enlighten me with it? ^_^ |

This is a question for wikipedia, not this topic. Yes, a theory of everything is going to have a very wide scope, indeed!
