Donators only downloads not fair!

It's not really fair to not let others download new music just becuase they don't donate. Not all of us have the money or credit card to do such a thing. It's just unfair and wrong. but it is you site, gendou. You do what you want i guess.

| It's completely unfunded, ad-free, and an excellent archive of hard to find music... He has every right to allow only donators the priveledge of downloading from his library. I really wish this wasn't the case, as I have no where else to download some of these songs. It's ultimately up to Gendou, so I think we'd best just not pester him. |

I am doing you a favor by having this website. If you do me a favor, donating for example, then I appreciate it. To show my appreciation to those users who donate, I allow them to download 2 days ahead of schedule. This is not to say that other users, those who have not donated, cannot download the songs. It means that they have to wait a day or two. This is not a punishment for people unable to donate. Rather, it is a perk for those who DO donate. In summary, I have setup this system to encourage donations, and to thank those people who do me a FAVOR. Then why do people complain? Take Crescent for example. He has downloaded 661 songs from me. It takes me an average of 34 seconds to upload and list a song. That comes to over 6 hours of work that I have done for Crescent. How much work has Crescent done for me? None. Instead, he writes me complaints on the public forum that I coded by hand. (Which by the way, took over 100 hours of work to complete)

| He hasn't stopped everyone... Donators still have full access to those songs, if I'm not mistaken. Then again, I wouldn't know. |

| Ah, I only wanted to know what was going on. And now that I do I will not waste your time with any complaints. And I'm sorry Gendou that I cannot donate, for that is beyond my control. Anyway I think what your doing is more than reasonable and again sorry that I cannot help out by donating. |

| You see, despite the few ungrateful downloaders such as Crescent, there are a number of us who genuinely appreciate what you're doing for the entire anime music community. Heck, I wouldn't have bought half of the Anime OSTs I have now had I not sampled them here. Although we can't help support you finicially Gendou, we can provide you with our undying respect. I'll fill up a dozen posts conveying my gratitude if you'd like, Gendou, but I'm not sure you want that... Anyhow, I'm going to go for the night, I'll check back when I can. |

Ooooh...interesting stuff going on...can't believe I overlooked this message. I was just wondering Gendou, what does it mean when you're "poisoned" - this appeared in Crescent's profile thingummy....if people get poisoned, is that worse than a ban? Anyways, I would just like to say, I truely appreciated everything Gendou has done for everyone. I really feel guilty when I dl and see this BIG red message imprinted...(even bolder on Shinji's site -_-")...I'm sorry I can't donate. Hell, I don't even have a bank account...but I AM trying to find a job and somehow get my own account with my own credit card (when is the legal age to get credit cards?) so I can donate. And also, I need to learn how to use paypal....*nods head sadly*....so behind... |

well.......i'm a minor so im really not entitled to pay money(maybe when i am older) i feel that gendou has all right to do whatever he wants as the site DOES belong to him...even if he one day(hopefully not) only allow donaters to download songs and no one else... so he is really like jus trying to support this website as people dont relly have the sense to donate(i know cuz i have a fren who has a private server).also,there are like ZERO ads so he cant really support himself. the donations are just to keep the web alive,right? ;) |

Gendou, on the site it still says I have donated $0, but I did donate a few days ago. Why hasn't it changed? Or do you change that manually?
