I am working on a remix of the boss battle theme from the SNES game Robotrek. Click here to listen to the one-minute sample. Sorry if it makes your ears bleed, im new at remixing. I welcome constructive criticism.

Well, scince I haven't heard the original, I cannot offer much in the way of any constructive critisism, but I can say that I thuroughly enjoyed it. It sounded pretty cool if you ask me.  |

that is quite an enjoyable piece you got here, i'm not musically inclined so i couldnn't help much ^^; sounds great so far tho

Overall its really good....but it could be alot better. It all depends on taste I guess. But I think instead of keeping that same 8bit part of the song turn it a bit more instrumental if you could...like its great if it starts off 8 bit and makes its way to a instrumental piece....You get the impression it will...then its this 8 bit stuff again... Keep it up its very good either way... Good luck. |

| It's pretty good, although it sometimes gets pretty repetitive. However, for your first time it's really good. |

There's a site with people that have dedicated their efforts to remixing game soundtracks. [http://www.ocremix.org/index.php] Maybe you should try your luck and see if they like it there :D (It sounds pretty good though)Or if you like remixes in general you should try listening to some of the work people did. Some are really good First post btw... Break out the alcoh... I mean juice boxes... |
