Before I begin, I'd like to thank Yinzhao for helping me out ;o;

Audition for Nico-Nico Douga's Medley 'Gasshou Kumikyoku'

Erm. Well, this would probably be my 5th project, and my first big-scale project! We're looking for people who are interested to join in for this project, which requires a lot of voice power, but of course, you can choose which part you want to do.
:D

So, we're looking for good voices; both boys and girls, of all different ranges :D It's a fun 10 minute medley of songs, originally done by a group called Nico-Nico Douga, entitled 'Gasshou Kumikyoku'.

The project seems so cool!! But it seems to be a bit too confusing for my tiny brain to comprehend at this moment (is exams time...)
Don't understand how come I hear some songs but I don't see the parts in your post...

Gambatte ne Rinzhen san with ur project!

Engelwings - XD there's only some parts of the song in the post cuz those are the auditions. after auditioning, you might get casted and then the real lyric division will start XD

Yeah, the entire lyrics are longer than that, but those are the parts (I've numbered the minutes on where they start) that I've selected :)

arh~~~ so ka. So in otherwords not all the songs in 'Gasshou Kumikyoku' will be used. No wonder some of the songs I know are not there... hahaha!!

And erm... think your youtube version is not playable.. it says... "The URL contained a malformed video ID." or maybe is the firewall at my work place...

Now that I understand how this is gonna be done... I'll go listen to the song again (when I've got the time coz it seems that my office firewalled putfile.com) and see if I can try for audition.

You might also wanna consider advertising this project again (with bigger & more striking fonts) on the Share Your Karaoke Thread cause there seem to be few replies here...

HOLY......dang if only I knew about it back when it was still going on...

I've got all of the various nico nico medleys memorized and I sing to them almost daily on my mp3 player (yeah, and sometimes I'll start dancing around to whatever part it's at)...

Are you guys still taking auditions? I've got a weird vocal range that switches between J's, Re:'s, and いさじ's depending on what part of the song it is.

Do you mean the (14 minute)ryuuseigun or the (24 minute)monogatari?

Personally I'd recommend the ryuuseigun since it's more popular, has more vocal parts, and it'd be a blast to try to do all the random meme sound effects that the chaos version has...

And I'm waiting for a time that my parents aren't home for me to sing since I don't want them to hear me.....personally I don't think my voice is that bad it's just that if they heard me singing Japanese they'd probably flip....or do something that I wouldn't enjoy...

@Meep: Uhmm.... I'll try but I don't know the Lantis Kumikyoku anywhere near as much as Shimo's mixes (the original kumikyoku, ryuuseigun, monogatari, etc.). I only knew about 3/4 of the songs used in the Lantis one before I heard it, but they're sung so differently in the L-Kumikyoku that it doesn't help much... (though I'm still happy they had the song "Rumbling Hearts" in it and "Second Flight" though the latter got butchered a bit at the end...)

@Z:: I don't have the karaoke of all the songs neither... what I did was I listen to it on youtube and made my own recording... cause the BGM used in Nico Nico Douga seems to be of a different tempo compared to the original~

@Engel: Ya, it is different. Some has faster tempo than the original ones, some has different keys.
