Music contribution page problem(s)

First off, when you go the music contribution page (http://gendou.com/amusic/contribute.php), and you're given a random song, and you're asked to go to (for example) amazon.com and look up the album's ASIN, when you click the highlighted link, it uses the same window you're in to go to the said website. But that's no good, because once you've found the ASIN, and you try to go back, the page has reset itself, and you'd have to surf the random songs to find the one you found the information to, and that could take a long time.
What I'm suggesting is that when you click the link, it'll send you to the appropriate site but pop up in a new window (or tab if you use IE7). Although popup blockers might block the window. And you could just manually open a new window and go to the site...

Also while we're on the subject of the music contribution page, when it gives you a song and you're asked to find the album's ASIN and you go to amazon.com, how exactly do you know WHICH ALBUM'S ASIN TO LOOK FOR (some of the songs don't give you the album)? All the contribution page gives you is the song, and I have no idea which album the song is in (ex: Gakuen Heaven "Panorama (TV size)", and on amazon it gives you 8 different albums for Gakuen Heaven and amazon doesn't tell you what songs are on what album).
Same problem goes for song titles on cdjapan.co.jp, because I don't think that cdjapan has Japanese song titles (ex: Rozen Maiden "Atashi ga Alice Datta Koro", I searched for several key words and the only one that popped up was Alice because that's also English, and more than 8 pages of results came up; although when I searched for the anime, only 1 result came up for CD albums, but I won't contribute unless I can verify that the song Atashi ga Alice Datta is on that album, which I can't)
And also when I look up animes for the songs that need types from animenewsnetwork.com, I look up the anime but they don't supply all the songs that appear within the anime (as far as I can see) except for the openings and endings (ex: Prince of Tennis "Dreaming on the Radio" isn't an opening or ending, so the site doesn't supply what kind of song it is (such as IN43).

If I'm somehow wrong in any of my information, please reply so I can help with contributing to the site whenever I have the chance to. For now, I'll try and contribute to the songs that supply the sufficient information (I've contributed to 1 so far hehe (>^_^')> ).

EDIT: Also, you might want to check the spelling on some of the stuff (ex: Love Hina "Koi no Tenshi Mai Furite (Instrumenntal)", instrumental is spelt wrong, and its album title is "Silen Eve" and it should be "Silent Eve"

EDIT: Also, could you put artists as FIRST NAME, LAST NAME? Because cdjapan uses that format (assuming that Okazaki Ritsuko is LAST NAME, FIRST NAME because it sounds like it...)

You can simply right click > open tab in new link to open that page in a new tab. That's what I do, though I had that issue a few times before. :D
It's been asked before, but the main sites won't always have the information you need to submit a contribution.
You can use other sites such as google, but if what you're looking for is such a hassle for Gendou to search for, he'll reject it (I think).

1. this is a non-issue, as devils-angel has pointed out.
2. for ASIN lookup, use the Album field, if supplied. otherwise, I prefer the single, but any album with the song in it would do.
3. songs that do not fit as either OP, ED, BGM, or IN are INVALID and should be flagged with an appropriate label so that i can decide what to do with them. for example, it might be a "character song", "image song", "coupled with", etc.
4. if you see a typo, report it in the proper sticky thread.
5. i put artist's names however they are presented in the source. the task of figuring out artist's name order and normalizing them all is insurmountable at this time. if, however, you wish to volunteer for this task, be my guest. i can easily provide you with a list of all artist names, and you can get back to me with your list of corrections in a format that will allow me to instantly update the database. of course, this would likely take you weeks or months, depending on wether or not you have a life. i certainly have a life, and don't wish to waste it ordering people's fucking names for no good god damn reason.

(i hope i addressed all your concerns. if not, next time, separate your questions more clearly!)
