Both have their good points. There are some stories that I prefer to read the manga and some that I prefer to see the anime. For instance, I like the manga versions of Rurouni Kenshin, InuYasha, and Bleach better than their anime counterparts, but I prefer the anime versions of Escaflowne, Trigun, and RahXephon.

I prefer manga. The anime can get a little tedious because there are so many filler episodes and sometime whole episodes are about like, 1 chapter in the manga.

Anime hmm...vs. Manga hmm...
Manga definatly! No matter what series the Manga almost always is better or in more quantities that the Anime
and it lasts longer but Anime is cool to.

personally, I think that it depends. Usually manga has nore depth, but there are some special effects that you cant create in it and you can in anime.

i think i prefer both of them. cos' if you read both of them you can find some content that you can't find only in each of them.

It always depends on the storyline cause in some cases the author might have more info in the manga then the anime and in other cases they have more info in the anime then the manga...it basically how you see it and the author of the storyline...

What can mangas do that animes cannot?! If an anime is able to get as deep in the plot and have an character development as good as the manga, what is the advantage of the manga? except for the fact that you can read manga at anytime of the day ^^

hmm.. there are somethings that animes can do and mangas cannot.. and opposite. Both are so good... I cant really decide which is better. Cause both of them have great aspects... O_o;

I agree with fAntAsy, It depends on the series. If an anime is able to get as deep in the plot and in character development as the manga, and with good music, visuals, etc... then the anime is much better ^^... the problem is that many animes never achieve that ^^;;

I lik manga more than anime becuz usually wen ppl turn the manga in2 anime they usually screw it up or change the entire story or they skip a few things. Lik chrno crusade 4 an example they made it completely different from the manga...

...it relly depends on the series.

Its really hard to tell but on most ocassions, the manga seems much more detailed and better. Originals always best after all

I prefure(sp?) Manga over Anime. Sometimes, the Manga has much more depth than the anime. Sometimes the anime vears off it a totally different direction than the manga. O.o Sometimes, the manga has more humor in it then the anime. Sometimes the manga has little side-stories that don't make it into the anime.

And there is only ONE anime that I like better than the manga. And that's King of Bandit Jing because IMO, It makes more sence than the manga. Sure sometimes they squished a whole Graphic Novel into a single episode, but.......sometimes I had no idea what the heck was going on in the manga. In the anime, things are a little clearer. But this is rare (IMO).

"Well, I'm not sure. A little voice in my head is saying 'this is a bad idea' but I can barly hear that little voice because an even louder little voice is yelling "LET THE 12-YEAR OLD DRIVE!'" - from The Cat in the Hat

Manga: Gets deeper into the plot
Anime: The characters are coloured in!
Manga: Further character development
Anime: The characters can move! (more towards the expression factor)
Manga: Reading is fun?
Anime: The characters can talk... and sing? (also towards the expression factor)
Manga: You can enjoy it at anytime, even while sitting through a 10 hour trip in a moving vehicle on your way to visit your grand-parents! (Unless you have a laptop)
Anime: *deep flaw* Can be dubbed into different languages. The voice of the character will change (thust changing their personality), they say different things from the original, scenes are cut out... oh the horror.
Manga: Unlike anime, when manga is translated... it's just translated. It's not like they can rip out pages, right?
