Yup! I agree with saki77. Grave of the Fireflies is a really nice movie. It is a story about a boy who really love his younger sister that he really took good care to her. The story took around during the World War 2.  |

@redberrie lolz..i know what you mean! i hated physics too..but that was back in foundation physics where they threw in all the theoreotical stuff. you kno that it'll be totally useless and you can't apply it when you come out to work (unless you're thinking of going into research). in the end, you only have 2 options..either let the lecturers cram it down your throat, or you personally stick it up your own ass. either way, it's not gonna be pleasant. XD thank god what i'm doing now is much much much more practical and hands-on. haha..smiling to yourself does work..you can 'trick' your mind to be happy lolz..and for the ladies it can keep away the crease lines XD stop frowning! it's not kawaaii to frown XD *anor..for the younger ones, please dun let my post discourage you into doing physics-related courses later. It really is beneficial, as OwdEe sh4H mentioned there a bit of everything in anything. No job is self-contained nowadays* @OwdEe sh4H MRI eh? *oh boy, here i go again XD* MRI is actually juz a big magnet. A REALLY REALLY BIG ONE. And it's perpetually turned-on, as in you cannot shut off the magnet. If you walk into the MRI room without precautions one or more of these things will happen: 1. Your credit card (if you have one) will be fried. 2. Your pen drive/thumb drive will be fried. 3. Your sim card and your phone will be fried. 4. That mp3 collection you've been collecting for years in your ipod will be gone, and you can kiss your mp3 playa goodbye too, for that matter. 5. You notice that time is moving slower for you..or even going in backwards (actually your analogue watch has gone bonkers). 6. That metal cross you're wearing as a necklace that you're so fond of will slip off your head (if you're lucky) or strangle you (worst case scenario XD). In any case, nothing can stop it from sticking to the magnet..good luck in prying it off. I've known of stuff like the cleaner's metal pail and fire extinguishers (!) getting stuck and they had to call in the engineers to turn off the magnet..which cost a whole lotta $$$...Won't tell you in detail about how MRI gets the images, suffice to say that the magnet and radiofrequency waves manipulate the water molecules in your body to resonate and the MRI picks up these signals. Umm..i dun really kno how the stethoscope works >_< my guess is that it picks up vibrations caused by the heart and amplifies the signal? i did a paper on medical statistics too (it was called bio-statistics, same thing i guess). well if you have to do a study later (e.g. on drug effectiveness involving patients) this course will help you with stuff like collecting samples. As for the actual statistics and analyzing your data, there's always statisticians around to do that XD BUT..they will give you HELL if you juz chuck them some data and ask them to analyze it (first hand experience + lots of horror stories XD)..you gotta speak their language >___< so yeah, by all means give it a try. @kana-chan wahaha..i can imagine the expression on your face as you were typing that X__________X <--- *very pissed kana* sabar sabar..i dun think she's forcing you cos she likes it, juz that it's part of her job. Though the catty remarks she made after that was really unnnecessary.. @AiCeD sad anime? i thought Fate/Stay Night had a rather sad ending. Mai-Hime also had major sadness + angsty moments in the middle, but it ended happily. I'm planning to watch Mai-Otome soon, i hope.. arghhh! So many animes, so little time.. Edit: I've heard many talk about Grave of the Fireflies as a really sad anime, never watched it myself though..

yay,pass the toughest modular course in one shot.what should i do with all the money i kept for emergency eh?anyone would like a treat of KFC or McD?maybe ill order anime calenders from kinokuniya. @atelier -latest news!otome zwei ep 2 will be released 23FEB and most likely the fansubbed version will be released 7 days after that.so the possibilities is that we will only able to watch them earliest in MARCH,sigh........... -wohooo,thats fast.still lot of ppl seeding for karas eh? -ahaha i already got enough yaoi stuff living 5 yr in hostel and now in all boy college,hoooo.enough to give me immunity against bishounen kawaii-ness -i came across the title garasu no kantai(others mention it as glass no kantai or glass fleet)in some sad anime thread.i like anime with sad storyline the most.any-anime of that kind that u know? @saki -not much different from other school with principle,maybe just not much birokrasi since most of stuff will be approved immediately -i play basketball but just sometime since it hurt me alot,worst than playing football.

It's because of someone actually forcing people to join kawad kaki, where we dun want but she forced us to come for practice, but in the end we don't even come. She's nagging us and made us fed up with her~~! Who does she think she is? Saying all bad things towards us! I just wonder if I should slap her so she shut up~~! Grrr~~!

@bkno9, hahaha..nice try at explaination^^ there's one CT scan pic during our clinical practice session today,so i understand what r u trying to say.a transverse image,nice.there's lot of tranverse specimen in d dissection room too.haha. okay,now tell me abt MRI.i know it's a big machine where the patient kinda lay inside it,rite?hehehe.. wait2,i have a much more confusing question:how does the stethoscope able to hear ur heartbeat?i really wanna know^^ @orcaz, there's also a novel of densha otoko..my fren in msia already read it n he enjoys it. @redberrie, never like physics that much too.but when u get to tertiary education,i guess u'll see that there's always a bit of evrything in anything.we still hear abt law of thermodynamics in biochemistry.the good stuff is,we r not expect to calculate all those complicated stuffs. but somehow,i miss doing juz that..maybe i'll take medical statistics next year?^^   |

ahh! banned?! hees, i havent done anything guilty. so ive never been banned, haha. ooh, CT scans and medical physics?? haha, anything with the word physics to me, can go straight into the recycle bin and get incinerated. poof. my physics is horrible. =C gahh. wish i can toss my huge pile of STALE work into the incinerator too. atemu!! cheers k. ^^ stressed by school work? i just complete what i can do. always do the ones you know how to do first. then later concentrate on the blurr subjects/homework. if you own lotsa work, just do the most recent ones. the stale ones.. ermms, later do , ahaha. okays, that's really badd advice. tsk. anyways, do this! smile 20 times to yourself before you go sleep everyday!! haha, sounds stoopid ehh. but that's something i do when im really bothered.. ^^

kana-chan ahaha..blossom...the PPGs are cute though..i think the style follows what is known as 'chibi' in anime. eyes that cover more than half the face..hands w/o fingers and feet w/o toes.. lolz.. @OwdEe sh4H hmm..CT..it's kinda hard to describe in words, but i'll try. You're familiar with normal chest x-rays rite? Imagine a guy is lying flat and you are standing over him holding a camera. An x-ray is 2-D, it will come out something like your camera pic (except you can see his insides and what-not). Now...there's a sorta famous magician trick where the 'sifu' puts the assistant in a box, sleeping position, with the head and the feet sticking out. Then he proceeeds to 'saw' the assistant in half. Now imagine that he really does saw the body in half. You split the box into two and take a picture. Gawd..i'm going about this in a roundabout way >_< I tottaly forgot you're doing medicine. To summarize, CTs take images of the transverse plane of the body, each scan produces many 'slices' ^_^ *bows in apology to everyone else for reading his long-winded half-assed description of something totally off-topic* sumimasen!! ~XD~

@angelus chronic asthma? u should really care bour ur health.. i know how u feel.. but mine is not the chronic one.. juz got it sometimes espcially when im having fever or cough... last week is the worst 7 attack in one week...what the?.. im having really bad cough last week... so dont overdo urselt in sport or any outdoor activity kay? sorry bout my my horrible english,feeling dizzy rite now...waaa mengantuknyer.. @arcshiki hoh?got banned bout the drama.... my frens recommend me to watch it.. but not really interested in watching drama yay!!!!!jumaat start cuti sem leh balik tgk death note 2 yayayayayayayay  |
