didnt expected this one to be a 13 eps.. well anyway there is a big chance for 2nd season since the real motive of the band is not yet fulfilled but if the manga version is not yet finished then it will be hard for kyoani to start with the second season... well atleast seeing a second season is not a bad idea x3

| There's only two volumes to the Manga, this series is a Manga adaptation. The Manga is still ongoing however, so it's really safe to assume that when two more volumes at least come out, easily in the next year, we'll see a new season roll out too. |

It definitely won't be out right away if it will be created. Plus, I think KyoAni is already about to work on a new title (if not two) excluding Suzumiya Haruhi no Yuutsu Second. One thing I forgot to mention (if I didn't already), they changed the OP of course because Azu~nyan is a part of the band now, but they haven't changed the ED still, and I'd love to see Azura's costume (kawaii so?).

Ahh finally the last ep... Surprisingly very close to the manga, unless yui trying to kiss azunyan is much cuter here :D well... This reminds me of when i was watching manabi straight. What a shame to part with those cute girls... Oh well it was fun while it lasted. and we have the yui version fuwa fuwa time now... |

Well, let's look towards a new season in next year's summer release then O_O Overall, K-on~! has been memorable.. the only thing i suppose is that it was paced a bit fast (and i complain about animes being too draggy, how ironic). But i suppose it couldn't be helped seeing it was adapted from a 4-koma style manga. This screenshot was from ep11, just wanted to say that, somehow this facial expression never fails to delight me everytime the girls do it, especially Mugi O_O  Zombie eyes, for lack of a better way to put it XD Although I love Yui's "Cagayake Girls", i feel that Fuwa Fuwa Time is best sung by Mio, with Yui on backup. And WOOT~! Extra episode~!

Haven't seen 12 yet, but has anyone checked out the OST yet? Also I finally found out that My Love is a Stapler will release on 9/7 later this year!! >_<;;~!

So, is the next episode a special release or episode 13? I had fun watching 12, just finished it now, too bad they didn't show My Love is a Stapler with Yui vocals. I love Mio's singing voice, and her tiny vibrato is very cute and gentle. Yui finished as my #1 girl, lost her place to Mio for one episode, but regained her league! I love all these girls though. If I was any one of them, I wouldn't want anyone else in the world. I think of Ajikan when they do Fuwa Fuwa Time for some reason. Maybe it's cause of the Fuwa and the intro. ;P

@Sai Awesome screenshots X3 Yeap those were some of my fav moments too. Also, these as well. Love the way Sawa chan was just shaking her head in the frames right before this shot, and Mio, what more can i say? XD  LOL.. Azu nyan is so unamused.  @Slayer I think it's just a special, OVAs are usually longer than 25 mins XD @Danchou Speaking of the OST, I got hold of it recently, plus Mio and Yui's character song singles X3. I've read a couple of bad reviews about the OST, but what the heck, i got it anyway. So here's my 2sen on the songs. But first of all, did those guys who did the review even watch K-on? Or maybe they paid little attention to the bgm? I mean.. if you've already watched the show, you would know what to expect from the OST. I mean.. it is music from the show. Some ppl have mentioned that for an musical based anime, the bgm is too sugary simple. But i disagree. You forget that K-on is also a moe blob slice of life :P So i will give this OST collection of 'jingles' a thumbs up~~ After all, it does serve my purpose. I only listen to OSTs when i'm working, without words sung to distract me. And the best part about OSTs is that they bring back to mind some of the more memorable moments from the show. Like Yui running/rushing to school in the first (and 2nd to last) ep. Like when Yui plays her guitar 'unplugged' on the beach, with fireworks behind her back. Also, the track that plays during next ep previews. And that blues-y track when Sawa chan talks about her lost love O_O (this one is just so awesome) There are also a couple of more rock-ish tracks which i'm sure wasn't from the show, perhaps music inspired by? XD Moving on to the character singles, overall they weren't bad, but I prefer Yui's album (sorry Mio fans XD). 'Sunday Siesta' totally hits it as Yui's character song, she goes 'Goro goro~~' (bumming around) XD. The other track was about her guitar, and 'Yui' totally rocked out on that one. The last track, 'Let's Go' also appears on Mio's album. As for Mio's album, personally i feel her music is a bit too serious, in the context of the anime. She sings about her heart going into doki doki overdrive (but with lots of energy), and one where she's more in her collective thoughts with her worries and all. The last one, 'Let's Go' actuallt feels more fit as Ritsu's character song XD You can hear her distinctively shouting (what else). I liked Mio's version for this song, cos of the contrast in Mio's natural voice and Ritsu's cutesy anime-ish shouting XD As with preferences, likes and dislikes are very individualistic in nature, so have a listen and decide by yourself. The OST is gonna be on rotation at my workplace for awhile ;D

I haven't full listened to the OST, as in entirely through yet, just skimmed through. There are some cute ones I like, ones that involved Yui mostly. Haven't gave their character albums more listening time, but I'm still anxious for My Love is a Stapler to release in a few months. I'm curious why Ritsu and Mugi don't have character singles, and Azusa possibly having one would be cute as hell.

^ might be because yui and mio are the main vocal of the band i actually never heard bad critics about the OST, i like it better than the image song actually

Just finished episode 13 and I'm sad because no more. ;______; They're all so cute especially their friendship. I love and enjoy every single episode and tiny details of the series. |

Holy jesus: The songs are fun to listen to during the video, too. XD I was like "wtf" when this person started work on the books! The video has some render issues, but the video in his video (XD) is interesting (bottom left).
