Saru ni tabesaserareta

what if i use this sentence to tell someone else and not using tabesareta?

"sono hito ni"
Can I make this as a topic marker and put wa instead of ni?

Re: Japanese Learners Club ^.^

nope brian san ;)
cuz if you put "wa" instead of "ni"
the sentence will turn out to be "that person will make someone/something eat food", however it's incomplete you see

"Saru ni tabesaserareta"
would turn out to be "I was told by the monkey to eat".

"what if i use this sentence to tell someone else and not using tabesareta?" (I don't quite understand, more clarification?)

just a question.. so if you use tabesaserareta, it's somehow similar to the passive voice in english? because, based from the explanation, that was the impression that i got.. just correct me if i am wrong.

シェリル(sheriru) = sheryl

tensaku:

Juu Go nen(15 years old) = juu go sai

Mou sugu ni,koukou sei ni narimasu = cut the "ni" out

Watashi wa hitori de benkyou o suru,taihen da... = watashi wa jibun de benkyou wo shiteru kara, taihen da.
(I learn japanese on my own,it's quite hard...) <--- even the english grammar is weird...

Gomen ne,tasukete kudasai = meiwaku kakete, gomen ne. tasukete kudasai.
(sorry for bringing trouble,please help me) = also weird english...

"I'll be in the 10th grade next year"? = rainen wa juunensei ni narimasu.

1 = ichi
2 = ni
3 = san
4 = yon
5 = go
6 = roku
7 = nana/shichi
8 = hachi
9 = kyuu/ku
10 = juu

Re: Japanese Learners Club ^.^
Link | by mamoru on 2007-12-26 05:04:41 (edited 2007-12-26 05:10:43)
"nen" is for years as in "12 years" of spying on a dog
"sai" is for years you are on this earth

å¹´ = nen
æ³ = sai

( actually you can say juugo nen for fun :P )

"i'm fine,thanks you"? = I'm fine. Thank you = genki desu. arigatou gozaimasu.

"what if i use this sentence to tell someone else and not using tabesareta?" (I don't quite understand, more clarification?)"

Lol, thx for the explanation Mamoru San..I was confused at the start.....Now i understand.

Today I am busy but tommorow i have one thing to ask.

1.I really very happy!

am or was?

If it is "Was" Watashi wa ureshikatta desu maybe ureshikatta desu is enough...But if it is "am" I think it is watashi wa ureshii desu.

2.I'll keep up the good work!
Is it "watashi wa gambarimasu?"

3.Don't worry.
Shinpai nai....it this correct too?

4.Let's do our best!
Isshou ni gambarimasu.

5.Amazing!!
Sugoi!!

add-on

2. I'll keep up the good work!
kore kara mo ganbarimasu

watashi wa ganbarimasu --> I will try my best.

3. Don't worry
shinpai shinaide (don't worry)
ki ni shinaide (don't mind)

shinpai nai --> there's no worry

to be more precised for I'm very happy --> watashi wa sugoku/totemo ureshii desu.

pardon,
my name is stephen.
I have a small question.
When I try to write my name on the computer, I can't make the small "i" character. If anyone could help me out, I'd really appreciate it.

Oh, and I guess i should introduce myself.
I already said my name, so i won't repeat myself.
I live in New York. Every year I go to Japan to see friends and family. the rest of the time I am a painter. I study japanese on my own.
Thanks.

If someone say "Kono mondai o shinpai shinaide kudasai"...can i translate it as "Plz do not worry about that problem"...?????

1.Happy new year!: Akemashite omedetou gozaimasu. (Should be right)....

3.Happy Birthday!: I think it is "O tanjobi omedetou"

5.What do you want to eat?: Nani o tabetai imasu ka?

4.I appreciate your present!: I wanna know how to say this too.....Mamoru san plz traslate this for the 2 of us.
2.Let's go celebrate!: Translate this too plz. What is the vocabulary for celebrate....?? "(..........)ikimashou"

"ureshii means happy right?" = yeah, kanashii is the opposite.

I have a teacher name Kana and a classmate name Ureshia....The teacher is always sad and the classmate is always happy.....What a coincident.

シュリルさん、
はじめまして。正月この表現を使っています:
1。明けましておめでとうございます。
2。分からん。ごめんね。
3。"誕生日におめでとう"を使えばいいかも
4。特にに分からんのに、たぶん”ありがとうございます”はいいとおもう。
5。”何を食べたいか

1。akemashita omedetou gozaimasu.
2. i donno
3. tanjoubi ni omedetou. can be used, right?
4. I donno of anything special to say, but arigatou gozaimasu.
5. nani wo tabetaika.

じゃあ、守さん
ちょっと、食べさせられるについて、

仲間は僕に梅干しを食べさせた。
会長ほぼ国梅干しを食べさせられました。

あっているか

Is 食べさせられる honorific for 食べさせる?

そして、みんなさん、
僕にとって日本語の言葉をロマージで読んでる方は難しい。ひらがなの方はいいです。誰かも同じの文句があるか。

does anyone else find it hard to read japanese in latin characters?

2.Let's go celebrate! = iwatte ikimashou ( 祝って行きましょう!)
4.I appreciate your present! = kimi no purezento ni kansha shimasu! / kimi no purezento ga suki desu! / kimi no purezento wo moratte ureshii desu!
5.What do you want to eat? = nani wo tabetagatteimasuka?/nani wo tabetain desuka?

@gstephe
小さいの問題があれいます。---> 小さい問題があります。

パソコンでなまえをかけてみるのにちいさい”イ”をつくりません。---> パソコンでなまえを書いて見ましたが、小さい「イ」を作れません。

先に名前をあげたから、くりかいしないはいいかも? ---> 先に名前を教えたから、繰り返しなくてもいいでしょう。
(if you say 名前をあげた means that you named us...)

ニュヨック ---> ニューヨーク

毎年だいたい一ヶ月ぐら日本へ友達や家族に会いにいって、---> 毎年だいたい一ヶ月ぐらい日本に滞在して、友達と家族に会いにいって、

一人で日本語を習ってしまいます。---> 自分で日本語を習っています。

毎年だいたい一ヶ月ぐら日本へ友達や家族に会いにいって、
残り時、絵書きです。 for this one is the sentence connected? cuz the one you translated is separated.

Is 食べさせられる honorific for 食べさせる? ---> nope

"仲間は僕に梅干しを食べさせた。"
"会長ほぼ国梅干しを食べさせられました。" for this two what exactly are you trying to ask? :D

僕にとって日本語の言葉をロマージで読んでる方は難しい。---> 僕にとって日本語のローマジを読むのが難しい。

誰かも同じの文句があるか。 ---> 誰かも同じ文句があるか。

for the small "ィ" just press the space bar until you find "ィ[全]カタカナ(i)[小]"
