Hahah!!! Perhaps that why they get so much stuff... :( Or perhaps is the other way? The Japanese like Europe/The Queen! But I do know in general, Japanese like France... is like how Hong Kongers like Canada (thats why so many of them migrated there before 1997 right?)...  |

I'd love to go to one of their concerts. I wish I went to Paris to see them in Paris. Even with the low quality fan videos, his voice just sounded amazing. Though when they do lives, I don't like every song they do, it's just me, it's natural. Plus I live in a state where Japanese media is not really highly exploited, so that kinda blows.

Hmm... maybe HYDE is prone to environment changes... you know like how some people take a longer time to adjust to a new climate thingy. Lost heaven is nice...Seventh Heaven is nice too... just... well... don't watch that strange looking PV? DA, have you gone for their live concerts before? |

His voice is somehow always scratchy when they tour US. Their Awake tour was kinda rough, especially for HYDE, though I heard his voice was sore before coming to America... :O tetsu and Yukihiro have always been consistent, and Ken rarely messes up. I hope they perform "Snow Drop" again this year, cause it's been a while hearing that live. I think the last time I've seen it live, it was a performance ten years ago. O.o` I also think "LOST HEAVEN" has to be one of their most underrated singles ever. Compared to their other more popular singles, "Lost Heaven" is pretty darn good and catchy. After I heard it, I loved it. After seeing it for the Ed credits for the FMA movie, I loved it even more.

i got into japanese songs back in 2000 too. xD. but yeah, i did notice hyde's voice change. experience and stuffs i guess. you can compare his voice back in their indies (the Dune album maybe), and his recent voice, wow. |

Hahah! I too only really got into anime after 2000. But I was exposed to Japanese music much earlier. I still remeber the first Japanes song I heard on Radio was way back in 1996 (wasn't even in elementary school then). "Say Yes" by Changi & Asuka (not sure if I got their names right) and i guess it was since that Japanes songs and I had an inseperable fate. The 1st album I loved was by Speed... and subsequently I fell in love with more Japanese Artist~ Can't remember excetly when I first got to know of Laruku though. But I was surprised to see I has a small piece of their pic cut out from some magazines, and was lying around in my room for years (the dust tells it all) when I found it a couple of years back. Well, you did "work" to find out about them~ XD |

Well I didn't truly get into more anime until after 2000 or so, as far as I remember, and I was still new to Japanese music, but Laruku was my first band and is now my favorite ever. Though I've know them for a short time period, I know a LOT about them. ^_~` What do you mean about hardworking? Am I... working? :3

Indeed. His improvements have been tremendous. But I'm surprise that you only started "chasing" after tham 4 years ago DA. I would have thought you were one of their long term fan. I knew them from quite long ago but I only really got into them when they reunited a couple of years back~ But unlike DA, I'm not so hardworking... so basically I only go for their songs... (yeah... I guess the looks does play a part too)... |

Oh, sorry, I'll PM you the link then, Engels, since embed was disabled. I first got into Laruku when Hagane no Renkinjutsushi came out (dub on AS), so a bit after the Japanese version got licensed by FUNimation. So maybe... the past 4 years (2004), I've learned everything about them in like, the last year!? XD If you see how HYDE has improved since their tiny shows in Japan, his voice has matured to a point no singer in Japan has gone. His vibrato is more consistent and is stronger than ever, he wasn't able to reach high pitched notes before (with a vibrato), etc. The band gets better ever year, which is always good. I guess when they come back together, it'll be even more fun, though it's good that SHINE will get released this month... at the end of the month. >_<;

Asia tour = no hope ever in going to singapore. sheesh. but anyways, laruku has been going strong for like, past 17 years, thats like, wow. i have listened to them for the past, ten years? or so. i dont know. lol. |

ZOMG! I found two of their concerts, entirely FULL versions on YouTube, w00t! I saw the one they had in Okinawa, it was decent, though I'm going to watch their entire L'Anniversary concert!

hahaha!! When I first listen to Blood+ OP Season's Call I was like... "wait... that voice is sooo familiar" then I stared into the screen just to see HYDE (the name) staring back at me... I was so happy that I completed watching that series (OK, at least the storyline somewhat kept me with it) Sometimes thay make TV size so well that is hard to choose which (as compared to the full ver) to load onto my mp3 cum mobile phone for my use...But usually, I end up loading the full version for me to edit it into TV ver in my mind if I want to! muhahahah!! |

Yeah, I doubt I'll watch it, but just like Blood+ and Season's Call, I'll only check out the intro, haha. It's not everyday I can hear Laruku on TV y'know. :P But seriously, the tv size is so darn good.

I've seen Seirei no Moribito. well... gave it up half way cause the storyline wasn't interesting enough to keep me from thos new and interesting anime. But... the opening song was da best!!! |

The only places I know they performed at were Korea and Shanghai. I think two cities in Japan near the end of the Tour, and of course Paris before their ASIA tour. Have you guys ever checked out S.O.A.P. yet? While I did a research essay on Laruku for English, I found out all members' solo work projects were somewhat successful, behind HYDE of course yet I've never heard S.O.A.P. before. Also, Seirei no Moribito is gonna air on Adult Swim in August! I want to see the intro, since it's "SHINE" from Laruku of course. Though the single won't come out 'til the last week of Summer! I've never seen the anime yet except for the intro, but the OP is just so darn killer. :3
