hopefully listeners dont vote just according to their favourite song but on how the singers fare! ^^ and i must say many contestants are really really good. |

After listening to some of the entries, I've given up all hope on winning this competition. Hats off to the professionals! Time to just sing for the hell of it. Definitely more hot shots this year than last year. FAR more. Good luck to everyone else! ^^b |

@mogamikyoko You can get a maximum of 5 on 4 categories for a total of 20. |

Multiple judges will vote and the max score you can get is a perfect 20. Here's an example.

Is that possible for those who score less than 15 but get high votes move to the next round? From my analysis of the results Seasons 5 1st round, only those who score more than 15 will move to next round. I'm aware of the previous post stated that both judges voting & public voting are important and I noticed the formula too. But how come for those who scored less than 15, but get high votes in Season 5 1st round failed to move to the next round? Is that means public voting isn't as important as judges voting? |

Tokiko: It is important. But like we have said before...This is not a popularity contest...so we want to make sure that the people who moved forward deserved it. I've judged 50 so far...and I have a headache...XD So, I think I'm done for the day. I will probably go back to my comments(even scores) and edit them later. Just one question. Can the judges spot it if a contestant takes a video from nico douga and claimed it as their own for the contest? :)

Speaking for myself, I don't even watch the video, unless the singer has recorded themselves. If you're asking what to do about a song the contestant did not create, then you would want to report such abuse directly to me or Pamela.

Papee: Just like Gendou, I don't bother watching the video...I just listen to the recording...but again...if you have spotted someone cheating...PLEASE, I encourage you to send me or Gendou a message to report it. Thanks! |
