That should be okay since I don't use ANN to begin with. You could use Google or animelyrics.com, which is what I use.

May I ask something about contributions? For "type" contribution, if ANN doesn't have info about the song, but a different source does, is it alright to post a link from that source?   |

I've thought about it. This is one way to forcibly stimulate the community. I don't care to rely on force, it is more powerful to create a free and easy to use website.

Hello... After seeing several download sites all over the net, this question came across my mind. Gendou, what do you think about the rule that requires users to reach a certain numbers of forum posts before they're allowed to download any songs? Ever thought of implementing it? |

I've worked on several other websites, but this is my "major" project, as it were. I went to CSU Chico and graduated in 2006 with a bachelor's degree in Computer Science.

I have a question (that might've been answered somewhere else before), about the threads. How old can a thread be before we bump it? Say, a few months, half a year, or even a year since someone last replied in it. Or, if it's been a year before someone replied in it, the thread is considered "dead" and we should just make a new thread?

@Angelus: All you have to do is click the Anime ep's title, pray you get into a dl slot, and then you can download it normally, 2 in one hour.

For simplicity's sake, the official title of the site is "Gendou.com". However, in order to get best google searchability, the historical name needs to be kept on the home (news) page. Besides, this is still, primarily, a music page!

A question or two (If there is a repeat question , kindly ignore this one ^^) : There is a section on anime episodes already but the name remains 'Gendou Anime Music' . The question is are you thinking of changing the name ? (Just Asking :P) Here's my suggestion XD : Gendou Anime Page Another question is can you list down the top country users for the year 2007 (Update ..... XD) That's it for now . Later . |

1. midis are ok so long as auto-play is off 2. :( 3. i listen to my users for feedback, but not other admins. clearly, there is a conflict of interest anyhow. besides, my goal is to make the website i want to make, not copy other people. nothing brilliant ever comes from copying. it sucks that, due to your slow download speeds, you are seldom ever able to successfully download large files in one shot. it should be possible to implement "range" requests on both sheep's site and mine. currently, there is no "Accept-Ranges" header being broadcast, which probably confuses many download managers. i will do some experimenting on that today.

@sheep ... What do you mean you can't watch them perfectly?... well,... I just think users with tiny of internet access speed cant see them as equal as MD5 hashed file (exactly equal)... beside that, they couldnt finished download during a Day!... Just comparation, imagine if our internet speed at 4KBps (this is a fact), we could have ONE 175MB AVI in the next 12 hours. And if our download fail because of some reason, it can waste the server's precious bandwidth, thats terrible...!!! ~_~; yeah, it's not a problem thought any other websites can accomodate this... but i can say, around 50% of gendou users is come form development countries, then of course, they would be dissapointed before they even click the link to start a download... the last, Anime is for everyone... many thanks, @gendou 1. sure, on you own website! not here. though. the purpose of this website is different. 2. no, only database songs have lyrics entries by design. 3. no? 1. Its OK to put midi's link during forum section ? 2. oh... *sad* 3. i just think this site will improved much if you share an idea with them (website admin)...
