It's a sort of bug in the system. When a user withdrew their entry, the slot was opened for anyone to sign up. This isn't how the round was intended to work, so I'll look into a fix.

There will be some contestants withdrawing/being disqualified in round 2 No other contestants will be allowed. ^-^ And A NOTE TO ALL FUTURE GENDOU IDOL CONTESTANTS: When you are planning to join this contest please make sure you have all three entries, or will be able to submit all entries if you make it to the next round. If you don't, then do not waste MY time, the OTHER judges time, and don't take the SPOT of someone else who is willing to complete the competition. Thank you. |

Yes, because I just disqualified one contestant. So, no worries. Either way, in only 2 hours, the rest who haven't submitted entries will be disqualified as well. |

Do you intend to refill those disqualified spots or keep it at whatever number you end up with? Haha, I'm glad I checked the forums. I freeeaked out when I saw there was a spot open. I'm assuming I can't try again, here, right? x3 |

These two contestants withdrew their entry from round 2. In other words, they did not wish to continue in round 2. This is unfortunate, because 2 other contestants might have filled their spot.

I wonder how many slots there would be on the finals. 7 finalist would be good or adding another round, 14 would go on the next round then 6-7 would be on finals. I think that would be more fun and people can listen more songs from the participants. Just a suggestion. :)

Iris: Since they couldn't submit new songs for round 2, I disqualified. It's quite upsetting, at least to me, because they took the spots of people who probably would have continued on the competition. A total of 4 people were disqualified.A number of 26 contestants are competing towards a spot on finals ;D Papee: We are still debating whether we should have 5 or more finalists, hehe. People are TOO good this time! XD |

My preference is to have 5 winners in round 2, but increase that number to accommodate any (near) ties.

Because there were 50+ entries for Round 1, I think increase Round 2 to maybe 8-10 winners. If a possible Round 3 was created, maybe have a final 2 (or 3) for the ultimate pressure cooker. ;P

I finished judging, other than family visiting to eat I did all the judging today for some reason. Either a lot of people did really well or I was score hungry. XD I did see some improved entries and others not so much. It's going to be near impossible for me to vote and you'll see... [@PAPEE] Yeah so it'd be (Round/Entries/Winners): 01/150/29 02/26/8-10* 03/8-10*/2-3* F*/2-3/1 * = Varies depending on judges' decision, F = Finals or "04", Round 4, Final round.
