yeah, the second movie was discussed a few pages back. apparently, it's something about the execution of hitsugaya now... O.o` also... i have the [first] movie already in my 'bleach' anime folder. i'll watch it tomorrow after school, cook up some popcorn, get snacks and drinks, and sit back and enjoy. ^_~` i read comments about the movie on other forums already. some good ones and comments that aren't so "good", to say the least, but who cares. i'll check this out for myself. man, i can't wait. X3 [edit] about the series, it's about to start moving along again since the fillers are over. although, this might not be the last of 'em... who knows. they're just about to take orihime over to their side, and ichigo blew it with his "eleven second battle" with grimmjow since his mask already broke. dang, it must be insanely rough to extend a few seconds onto the mask, let along reaching 60 seconds. they only have two months left, but judging from what the others are facing (hitsugaya's group), they might've moved it up a bit. i want to see urahara fight. doubt he's as strong as he used to be, but he's surely not just some retired shop keeper now.

The second movie sounds interesting. Hitsugaya's execution is ordered, but of course, he's been framed. dl'ed the first movie last night...will eventually watch it. ;) Different people have different opinions about the movie for sure, the biggest complaint so far seems to be that the enemies aren't characterized enough. *shrug* I'll decide for myself after I've seen it. re: series Even the manga is pretty slow with this arc. |

I saw it a few hours ago after I got home from school. Since you haven't seen it yet, I doubt many have, I'll hold back the spoilers. Although, I read on some other forums that the movie is like "a filler arc but with better animation." Something like that anyways. I did like the movie, typical Bleach here 'n' there I suppose. Guess I won't talk more about Senna 'till later I guess. Man, if I saw her more, I could've ended up loving her. Her personality is great, she's incredibly cute, she's really awesome! I love her, but... "yeah... (spoiler)"... I wish I bought the movie instead of ddLing it. The flashy stuff and whatnot, would look really cool, not-to-mention perfect quality for an anime like Bleach. Well now... I turn back to the series, which is still slow. (:\

the movie was so so to me wasnt that great. i think i prefer naruto movies and maybe the fma movie compared to the bleach one. but the bleach movie tops the pokemon movie anyday. I wish bleach released episodes faster. I love Ichigo's mask i wish i could buy one somewhere. I already have the sword, the costume and just did my hair orange. Id look soo cool with the mask on for halloween this year. If i cant pull that costume off ill just have to wear my kamen rider kabuto costume again from last year.  |

You can't really compare the Bleach movie to any Pokemon film. Two different types of anime, for two different types of viewers and audiences. The Naruto movies were okay but I had more fun with the Bleach film a bit. The FMA film beats both of them so no contest there. Now I guess I'll wait to hear more about the second film. That film will most definitely be based on the anime (Aizen, The Arrancar, etc.). Memories of Nobody was a different type thing not relating to the main story.

Actually, the second movie isn't based on anything in particular either. That's usually how it goes for most long-series anime... movies and OVAs are essentially filler. They are all original stories. Diamond Dust Rebellion is about how Hitsugaya is in charge of guarding the King's Seal (not the King's Key that has been mentioned in the anime) and it's been stolen. He disappears soon after and his guilt is presumed and an execution order is issued for his death. Trying to prove his innocence, he uncovers a secret about a long dead shinigami (there is speculation that this is the captain Zaraki killed to take over Squad 10, but it's just speculation). I'm sure Ichigo, Rukia, Renji, and Matsumoto are also involved in trying to prove Hitsugaya's innocence. Still haven't watched Memories, but I've been spoiled rotten on that anyway (I'm using a gif of Byakuya rescuing Rukia - again - with his bankai as my avatar on another forum)... but maybe discussion should be in the thread for the movie. And Banzai, you're welcome. I made your sig for reasons of my own and posted it on other forums (well just 2), which one did you grab it from? This is the only other place I've seen it. lol I also made an updated version using Kai from Yakitate Japan, fyi. |

That thread was originally to find out when the movie would be out or if it was out yet. Now it is, obviously. :3 I keep getting the King's "Key" and the King's "Seal" mixed up! Darnit! >.<` I wouldn't mind talking about since you said you were spoiled rotten by now. XDXD Since you talked about Byakuya rescuing Rukia, that part was cool! Before Kenpachi and Byakuya came, I said to myself "they can't come, they have to guard Soul Society" while another, gut instinct type thing said "of course they're making an appearance!" and well... they did in highly cool fashion. Kenpachi was just nuts! The way he killed that one guy in the trees (formed from the Blanks?) was pretty serious. That guy threw some explosive attack at Kenpachi, and he shielded himself with his huge amount of reiatsu. It's not the best film ever made, but I had to watch it since I am a pretty huge Bleach fan even though I started to hate Bleach. But that was only because of the fillers and everyone hates fillers.

I watched it last night after I logged off here. That was fun movie. I couldn't help but laugh when Ichigo is falling and Hitsugaya and co just flew up right past him without a second glance. Too funny, even though I know it wasn't supposed to be. On the other hand, the big white chickens (Blanks) I couldn't take seriously at all. Did you see Yachiru? She's too cute playing tag like that. It was really nice to have a some well-animated Bleach again. No, it didn't have the best plot or anything, but it was soooo pretty. |

The Blanks are completely harmless, even in a numbers gain. The only thing they can really do is crowd up the place around you... When Ichigo fell, I didn't really laugh at the scene. Even when the other Shinigami went past him, 'cept for Rukia who went after him (of course), it was more like a "just-watch-to-see-what-happens-next" type reaction that I had. He did get stabbed, by Senna's own Zanpakuto. I think the name of it was something like "Mirokumaru" (something very close to that). When Kenpachi came crashing down, it was hard to see Yachiru at first. Since her home is like, on her Captain's back, you just see her floating down onto his shoulders. She doesn't even feel fear since she's not some average Shinigami/Lieutenant and she has Kenpachi there who'd go nuts if something happened to her. But... he went berserker mode anyways. XDXD Senna is one awesome character. So sad to see the ending... which reminds me of another scene I saw in another anime before. I can't remember it, but there was a similar one in Maburaho, as well. Also, did you notice when he got stabbed (I think it was around here), a theme from the current series was used at that scene? It was like an Arrancar theme used when he met Ganryuu who captured Senna in his arms. Not that I had a problem, just thought it was a bit strange at first. The setting took place before the Bounto Arc began, but... whatever. It did fit the scene pretty good and I like that BGM they use during the Arrancar scenes. The movie is "pretty", something you HAVE to see on TV or something. It had a lot of lights, flashes, cool animated/animation stuff, etc. that you just have to see in perfect vision.

Well, The first movie is out already, subbed and dvd rip. The second movie is called the Diamond Dust Rebellion. It will be released on December 22. Basically the King's Seal goes missing and Hitsugaya is assigned to retrive it. He goes missing after one battle and Soul Society thinks that he is a traitor. They order his immediate capture and execution. Some people didnt believe in it so they set out to find him. They are namely Ichigo,Rukia, Matusmoto, and Renji. And meanwhile, Hitsugaya stumbles upon a dark secret involving a shinigami who was believed to be dead. So thats the info i know so far. Yeah the second movie doesn't look good... or interesting. I already have the basic idea of how it's going to be and what'll be involved already. Man, Soul Society sure goes after someone immediately without any proof of something he did or didn't do wrong. It's going to be released around the same time as the first movie, so I guess the second movie's dvd-release will be released around the same time as well... I guess. Well, gonna dL the newest Bleach episode. I heard they have a new OP now, so 'Alones' is gone. (:\ [edit] Nope, still the same OP ('Alones'). Just finished 20 and there were a lot of people coming in to help out someone else. I won't reveal much until more people reply, but they didn't take Orihime in this episode... At least near the end, it looked like she was still in the portal between Soul Society and the Real World.

New op and ed for ep 143, I posted that on the previous page. And really, I don't think it's SS that goes after people with no proof. It's just Yamamoto. Kubo turns him into an addled witted senile old goat. It's a real disservice to what could be a really great character. errrr, The first movie was in theaters in Japan last December, the DVD came out the beginning of Sept. The second movie will be in theaters in Japan this coming December and the DVD will likely be out Sept 08. dl'ed 140 last night, but haven't watched it yet. Canon for several more weeks yet. :D |

Was anything mentioned about the Central 46 Chambers yet? I think ('till now), old man Yamamoto is still running things on his own. Which comes to all the big decisions being made by him.

*snort* The Central 46 hasn't been mentioned at ALL in the anime or the manga since Aizen got through with them. It's one of the things that Kubo has left by the wayside and hasn't explained, replaced or picked up in anyway. Manga's at chapter 290, btw. It's about 60 chapters ahead of the current anime. |
