Not overstepping under any circumstances. I just think people, like me, are stupid by nature, and scoff at anybody who claims with pride to be the dominant species of the earth.

Had to look up Nihilstic (for some reason, looking up Nihilist brought up nothing, while bringin up Nihilistic brought up Nihilist *shrugs* wikipedia is the ultimate brain food). I'm a chaotist, and I'm all about challenging everything, from all forms of authority, to status quo, to establishments. It seems Nihilist is very similar, but quite different from misanthropy, at least my strain of it.

If i'm not overstepping,might i ask why?

To be honest,i'm a little Nihilistic as well.

OH!

Hmm. You mean one way of life should be better for somebody else? Like somebody imposing their answers on somebody? That's because people are stupid by nature.

You may notice by this point I have a slight streak of misanthropy.

Re: The Depression Thread V3

quite, quite, but my question is:"Why do people think that one answer is better than the others?"

Kutuso - Indeed. One can have a guide, but only the self can take thesteps.

If there is not one answer, than there is many an answer.
You can be influenced, tutored, and taught by people on how to answer this paradoxes, but I believe that there is more than one answer, and an endless combination of several different answers.

Kotuso - All the more reason to use the method. Humans are famous for killing people that are a cut above. There have been people who made advancements in mathematics, philosophy, religion, or just basically challenged the status quo who have 'disappeared'. :D

Ja, there's a solution. You speak of equilibrium, total balance. The method in which to achieve it, however, is the riddle.

I probably am ultimately looking for somebody who can answer my riddles, especially the ones to which I can't find the answer.

@Daedalus,Don't forget that Socrates was k illed by the greeks because of his method.^_^
I know what you are talking about, the paradox and all, however there is a solution. Identity achievement is when you feel completed, even if everyone else doesn't feel that way. You can control both your soul(if you believe there is such a thing) and your mind if they are one.

Doctor - Agreed. But perhaps what you need is somebody to poke around in that mind of yours. I'm rather known for helping people find whatever it is that's inside of them, I've made many friends that way. Probably has to do with the method I use, which is Socratic (Those of you unfamiliar with Socratic Method, it's basically using a series of questions to have the other party reach a conclusion on their own, named from the philosopher Socrates, who used such a method in discussions). It fits rather well with my obsession with riddles and puzzles, as in there, too, I make sure that the recipient of such puzzles and riddles always finds the answer on their own. Look me up on a messenger, and we might have some intersting conversations.

Kotuso - Both the mind and the soul are enemies of each other. Deny one or the other, and you end up damning both. The soul can be controled by the mind, and the mind can be controled by the soul. Controlling the soul is done through will, controlling the mind is done through submission. You can't do both at the same time, yet doing both is necessary to maintain balance. Humans are a riddle to which there is no answer, the ultimate paradox.

Watch out doctor, the more you sulk, the more likely you are to sucumb to depression. Your mind is your enemy, that's the truth. To be more percise I suppose I could say it is your chemicals and your emotions that are the enemy.
Stupid feelings.

Suiscide accomplishes nothing. I'd much rather sit around and sulk. Which is what I'm doing now. I can never speak my mind, it kills me.
Gods do I want to see V for Vendetta.

This requires a unique combination of psychology...and extreme violence.

I just got back from seeing V for Vendetta.

Absolutely Amazing! It made my weekend, how enchanting!

A quote from it:
Bad guys:"We have guns, all you have are knives and your fancy karate techniques."
V: "No, what you have are bullets...and the hope that once you're done firing, I won't be standing. Because if I am, I'll kill each of you before you get the chance to reload"

It was very cool, now I have a 4 page paper to sweat about, bye for now!

I think suicide is the coward's way out of life. At the very least, if a situation is impossible, its more honorable to die trying if you get my drift.

I got a good quote... My friend Kyle: "I didn't lose my mind, I sold it on Ebay."

The Paper

Im sure this person would appreciate the new flavor.

Cotton and polyester has to get pretty balnd after a while.

Jomunga, I will not be out done! Funny quotes! Yes they're real.

"In the drive to end polio, a plague of doubt and exhaustion"

Joan Rivers - "I knew I was an unwanted baby when I saw that my bath toys were a toaster and a radio."

P.O.V. - Point of View.
I see.... reviving the dead.

That sock picture should go on "What's weird about u" for a good laugh at(or for) the person who ate socks. :P

I don't know what POV stands for. What does it stand for anyways?

Mmm, so it was just a coincidence they all died on the same day. Well it seems they were all gonna seperate anyways.

I do like suicide, but I am not for the woe side of it, I am also not for the spirtual side of it. I just don't repect life enough. I think life isn't that big of a deal, hence I think it wouldn't matter when or how you die. To me its like "It's just life, no big loss there." I am a hypocrite though because I hate to see people die, unless I feel they deserve it.

Time to lighten the mood and put a smile on peoples inverted faces, with my patented engrish pics.

These socks have a new taste...

I wonder what it is. When I go to Japan I will find these socks and tell you exactly what this brand new taste is. Socks advertised for their taste have got to be good.

nightmare, im so sorry to hear that..
im really against suicide cause i believe that no one has the right to take someone's life or their own lives..

protecting and caring for friends are not easy..its like a quote from Bleach.."unless I grip the sword, I can protect you. While gripping the sword, I cannot embrace you."

@jomunga -
UPDATE EDIT: Do what you would do to help anyway, if anything, I'll get a philosophical wisdom out of it. Besides, it seems I'm still between a rock and a hard place, though the distance between seems to have become slightly larger, with a small amount of room to breathe.

You know, you caught me with a bit of an attitude, so I'll be happy to have a bit of fun. I'll take you up on that offer.

Although, if it's very long, I'm not going to read it all, I'm just going to post my little rant and start from there.

EDIT: Um... after looking a bit at it... I don't think we're talking about the same type of suicide. I'm talking about people ending it just because of woe-is-me. People who can't sort out the shit in their life, so they decide to end it. I can't even conceptualize tolerating that. That is weakness and cowardice where neither would help you. However, suicide-by-honor, like sepuku, I don't agree with, but I understand. I'm more along the lines of 'fight like hell until you die trying, and carry your burden to the grave' kinda person. People who attach a spiritual side to suicide... I don't understand, nor do I agree with, but I'm not going to say anything because... I don't really have a good argument.

I really don't want to necromance that topic unless you're talking about the one in which my P.O.V. would actually start something.
