Dangel, thanks for the advice! But the music recording being hard is more due to 1) my being a perfectionist and 2) my current mic can be blown out quite easily when I really get enthusiastic. *sighs* The mic's designed for speaking but not singing. But, it's still better than my previous mic--my laptop's built-in mic. lol So it just takes quite a few tries before I can get something which suits my perfectionistic nature and doesn't blow the mic out on the higher or louder parts of the song. (It's like everytime I hit a note with the correct resonance or a high note (period) the mic blows out. It's so sad that it's funny now.) Yes, there were only 3 in the final round 4 last time. I thought it worked out well to narrow it down that much. |

I hope I make it this time but... But it's really flaterring to know that DAngel thought my version was a bit better than my idol,ayumi i didn't expect such comment! If I make it or not i think it's ok. At least I learned that I improved. thanks gendou! |

I applaud the judges for getting through over 100 entries! o A o;;; And I've looked through the other entries as well, and the critiques were very thorough from the judges as well, so thank you so much for that! Pame and DAngel, I will DEFINITELY be taking your comments to heart. Hey guys... I want to apologize for all of the delays...One of our judges is very sick and hasn't been able to input his scores :( Another of our judges has private problems and wasn't able to finish the scoring. Only DA and I were able to score everything. So...this is my question to all of you. Would you like to wait for at least GENDOU to judge the entries, but wait a bit longer to know the 30 PARTICIPANTS WHO MAKE IT TO ROUND 2? OR Would you like to know the list of the 30 PARTICIPANTS who move to ROUND 2 even when not all the judges were able to score the entries? It would be based on the scores done by DA and I. IT'S YOUR CHOICE. ALSO, THE 30 PARTICIPANTS WILL BE ANNOUNCED IN A SPECIAL RADIO PROGRAM. I WILL ANNOUNCE THE TIME AND DATE, ONCE I KNOW IF I SHOULD WAIT FOR GENDOU...OR ANNOUNCE THE WINNERS ALREADY. @BlueRem OMG same here! XD I havent even decided on the song im going record as a backup. @Kinne You can access to radio from any part of the world. I think pame is referring to gendou radio talk show. So as long as you get on at the time she will be posting, you will see "radio" appearing on the nav bar~ owo then just click and choose the player you want to listen it from. |

I think it would be only fair to wait for all the scores. In some single cases it might decide on who makes it to round 2 and who doesn't, too, so I think it would be more fair to wait for at least Gendou, and even better for both... if it's doable, that is. I really hope everything gets well for the two of them D: And thank you for the patience for judging and con-criting all 100+ entries! You guys are awesome <3 Also thank you so much for the comments you gave me on my entry, Pame, DA... I might not have made it through this time, but I'm definitely going to try again! And with all the mistakes corrected (I hope)! Since this was my first attempt at something like that at all haha. Thank you for all the feedback!  |

Anyway: I don't mind waiting for Gendou. I think having at least three different judges on each entry is best. It doesn't seem like any of us are particularly antsy either. I agree with all the others. I don't mind waiting and would prefer more comments for each entry before the winners are decided. (At the very least, it'd be best for each entry to have the same amount of scores from judges.) I think waiting for a longer period of time will also help the winners as they try to record a song for round 2. lol, I feel the same tonkhai. That post was...odd, even for spam. |

I want to apologize for the delay on my end. As pame said i had some issues that needed my immediate attention. The issue now though is resolved and since the first round is still going i will resume judging. Thanks for your patience. And to gendou, hope you get well soon. edit: looks like i spoke too soon. Its showing that round 1 ended and is not allowing me to judge.

I don't mind waiting either. I think it's best and only fair if all the entries will have complete scoring from all the judges. ^-^ |
