Was hearing some entries, and I've got to say...it'll be tough for me to get through ^^''. Considering the number of entries that got through last year too. At least I can say I tried xD. Hope there are still slots left in 15hrs. |

HELLO EVERYONE!!! :D I want to introduce our judges: GENDOU: Administrator of the site. He has been judging Gendou Idol for a while. He is very knowledgeable and will let you know if you suck (Don't feel bad). DA: This will be his first time judging Gendou Idol. Greetings =D I'm a bit curious about two things: 1. "It is discouraged to sing translations of Japanese songs." Is there any particular reason for this suggestion? 2. Can contestants use songs created by themselves [lyrics + melody]? Thanks in advance. |

I read that you couldn't submit acapella submissions but I was wondering about acapella multitrack. Where I would literally sing all the different instrumental parts myself along with the actual vocals. (EXAMPLE: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wlW5c4tInvY BTW: this isn't my video. I'm just using it as an example.) Would this be okay? Because it would just be my vocals of the lyrics with no music. Thanks |

Same here Akikoyono, if you do make it work...I will give it a try as well :) At-kun: This is because most translations don't really work. For example, translation japanese to english. The phrasing usually sounds weird, rushed, and not in sync with the song, though if you make it work, then I think it will be worth listening to. |
