Wallpaper for my linux partition! Been using it more frequently than Win7 lately

Really need monitors with same resolutions..black bars below make good wallpaper looks bad

Anyways, here's my Ubuntu + VMWare + Win7 wallpaper. The one on the left is Ubuntu by default (look at the screencap above then below, notice some similarities between the top n bottom), the right is Win7 running via VMWare. Kinda nice having to run two OS at one time. Now I can sync my iPod without worries :D. Funny how I'm using Win7 for iTunes only...

And here's my current one.

Dang iTunes icon won't change (Or at least it won't easily change) with the new version of iTunes and it looks out of place >.>

[@Toyumi] Nice sexy wallpaper. And yeah, the old iTunes icon was probably better though I can't remember what it looks like... XD

Although it's easy to change icons on Mac (at least). Though overall, changing icons are a pain in the 455.
I forget how to change all folders and stuff cause my Candybar doesn't work.
I have another, probably more superior app which was free that DOES work, but I have to change every icon individuality.
Plus it's hard to find real good icon packs, I don't remember any good sites since I forgot to bookmark them a while ago.

My Macbook froze one time when I tried to change my dock and taskbar, luckily my friend knew the problem.
So yeah, the flaw about having Snow Leopard is that not a lot of people update their stuff! And Lion is coming out soon!!! D:

Dang, me want that wallpaper!
And yea, that's Kyuubei alright having a ...talk with Houraisan Kaguya XD

@DA
I still rememeber how it looked like - a blue beamed quaver standing on a CD. That icon looks good, but it feels funny when it's rotating on objectdock XD

Just Google itunes 9 icon. There's like...thousands of the same picture over-flooding cyber space

I was planning for a Macbook, but after a while, I've decided it was a tad too expensive and I can get an even more powerful machine with similar or lesser price for a 12.1" notebook. Besides, I've used OSX, Ubuntu and Windows and after using them and compared them, I find Ubuntu more to my liking with all those neat customizations. The only downer is that my iPod touch can't do any syncing with it, though VMWare have me covered. I find a Mac restricts too much of what I want to actually do...

@Altair
Nice theme. Are you using AWN or Docky? AWN screwed up my PC big time before, and I haven't tried Docky yet. How good is it?
I've been wanting to customize my theme, but I always stick back to Ambiance after a few days

@ DA- I don't really want to change it back to the old iTunes icon, I want to change it for an iTunes icon that's from the icon set I'm using so it goes with everything else. XD

And it's easy to change the icons on Windows too. Well, most of them. The only exception to that is iTunes. It can get annoying after trying to change it so much, because in the end it'll always show up as the regular icon whenever I run it.

As for icon packs, I get all of mine from DeviantArt. There are some pretty good icon packs there.

@ Altair- Nice wallpaper!

[@Kay] Yeah I'm a fan of Ubuntu myself, though I still prefer OSX personally.
I don't do customization a lot, the default look for Macs looks good anyways, but it's best for my liking overall.

I want to just upgrade or add more RAM, 2 is little for basic stuff on a Macbook and it annoys me sometimes when it randomly spikes.
If I upgrade later on I'll get 4 at least, but who knows. I prefer the Macbook over a Pro, but I also like the style of the Macbook better.

And yeah now I remember that old iTunes icon. XD

[@Toyumi] Your iTunes icon changes? As in it default backs or something?

And yeah, DA has everything, I'll check it out. Hopefully find something I like.

@DA
Yea, and it's too bad that a Macbook can only take 4GB of RAM at max. If I were get a Macbook, I'd get a pro though, and upgrade it to 8GB right up.
And yea, the old iTunes icon. Everybody seems to love that one XD

I've changed the theme and icon packs for my Ubuntu machine. Using the 'A-New-Hope' theme pack with Faenza Dark icon pack, which I might change to AwOkenDark icon pack, but we'll see. Added a dock to the left for all my hard drives and folder shortcuts, while I kept my frequently used apps on the top bar for simple one click access and disabled the hard drive from appearing on the desktop, making it clean and neat. Kept the panel below for extra quick access to open windows.

[image removed, see below]

edit: Not sure why, but the screencap looks a little different from what I see on my screen. Look right and bottom to see what I mean

@ DA- Yeah, it changes back into the default. Well, kind of. I can have it pinned with a different icon as a shortcut (Which used to work with the older version of iTunes), but it'll open up in a different window, which will have the default icon (Apparently, it will only open with the .exe now, whose icon I don't know how to change, and not with the shortcut like it used to be able to open with).

It's hard to explain. >.>

Basically, I don't want two different iTunes icons on the taskbar at the same time, one with the different icon (The shortcut) and the other with the default icon (The .exe), and so far my efforts to change that have failed. Because of that, I just have the default icon pinned (The .exe, just to save space on the taskbar, since the shortcut one with the different icon is useless on the taskbar with the new iTunes).

I'm going to look into it more this weekend, to find out how to change it, since I give up trying to figure it out on my own. XD

[@Kay] Hmm, not sure, but do you have a dock on each monitor?

And yeah, if I upgraded to the Pro I'd probably get 8, though it depends.
My goal is to get casted and have my company get me a Pro as a gift, then I'd mod it out.
I'd love a Pro with max RAM but with the Macbook design. I personally prefer the Macbook design over the Pro's.
Although if it's all black, I don't care what material they use, but I honestly like the Macbook's better.
I even prefer the touchpad and I feel the keyboard is a bit smoother. Though maybe it's cause I'm used to the MB compared to it's Pro brother.

[@Toyumi] Actually I think I know what you're talking about.
I'm not sure about Windows, but you have to like change the main source's icon. It's like that with Finder sort of.
Cause I changed my Finder icon although on windows (not the OS, but folders) it shows the default one.

Not sure about iTunes though, cause mines never changes. Maybe it's just one of those random things that you can't fix.

Actually, no, just on the the left side of the left monitor. Not sure why but the screenshot is a little out of line. I'll change it again later when I get home.

But wow, you Macbook Pro-in-a-Macbook idea sounds sweet. I'd love to see you try that if you could :D

Haha, I'm pretty sure it's possible, it's just a Macbook Pro 13", but with the Macbook design. ^_^

I'd love to have an iMac to for music/videos. I'm still trying to find a real all black iMac. Too sexy to just imagine about I suppose.

@KAY

The one in my snapshot is Docky. I've using it for quite some time now. Customization.. it pretty much limited, but adding and removing icon, is as simply drag-and-drop, or when you open up a certain program it will appear on docky. Right click and 'pin' it.

Sorry for late reply.

Here's the proper screencap, not sure why the screencap alignment was way off

@Altair
Thought so. I've been trying to look for a way to tweak Docky so that all my hard drives, CD-roms and flash drives to appear automatically at Docky itself and the icon will disappear when I plug it out. Checked out gconf-editor but no go, and googling gives me zero results. Looks like I have to manually drag and drop them to Docky. Still looking for a way to make Docky detect drives only though.
BTW, is there a way to make Docky to act as a link dock only? I don't really like having Docky act as my panel...

@DA
You can try Colorware. Make it an 'all black' series XD
