It’s July already!! It’s been awhile again. @Toyumi Hmm, I see your right. Well, I guess it goes for almost everyone. A person must be in a right mood or in a certain feeling when it comes to writing a poem. : 3 And thanks. @Tifa Gosh, don’t need to say sorry…Not sad at all. It’s just that, portraying a certain feeling in a poem is good. Your poem is awesome that even a reader can feel the emotion out of your poem. @Anke-sama Thanks! Glad it helps. @Analise Hi there, and Welcome as well :D @Carrot I think you can compose a song out of your poem. Nice job! Love it. And thanks a lot! I will try to do better. :) @Jon You’re welcome… :) @Holkers Is it Halloween… ahaha. Well, love it lots. Good luck in your exams!! …………………. will post in another poem of the week. The time in my lifeThis is the time in my life, that I don’t want to waste. Young age is a privilege, wanted by all adults. Remembering their childhood memories, and to avoid becoming an old sack. Yet denied by the young ones, in a hard educational life time. I will say, age is only important, if you happen to be wine or cheese. When I get older, coming out of the shower. I am relieved that the mirror, is all fogged up. Preferring not to see, the wrinkles on my skin. Life will still go on. From childhood, to teenage, and adults. Till I look forward to old shrinkage, I realize I’m much too wise, to regret the time in my life, I had left behind. ............hope you all will like it. X.x have a nice day and Take care everyone |

@ Holkers - Wonderfully written poem there! Good luck with your finals! @ Jo - I like that, but it brings tears to my eyes at the same time. It reminds me of a poem I read at my great-great-aunt's funeral last week *sinff* but I like it! @ All - Sorry for my absence I'm glad to see things kept going I'll get around to updating our welcoming post in the next few days! Thanks again for everything! |

@ Jo- Nice poem! It really reminds me of how you have to spend your time wisely. Wow, it's been awhile since I posted a new poem here (I think I was still in school when I wrote my last one). Here's a new one I made up just last night. I don't think it's very good and I don't like the ending (I didn't know how to end it lol), but it's still a poem so I'll post it. You say it constantly, But how can I be your angel? I didn't fall down from the sky, And I'm nowhere near faithful. You say it constantly, But how can I be your darling? I hardly do any good for you, In fact, it's quite the opposite! You say it constantly, But how can you love me? When I've caused so much misery, And yet you don't let me go. You do it constantly, But how can you hold me? And whisper to me in that sweet voice, Saying everything will be alright? You do it constantly, But how can you hug me? Even though you are my idol, How do you find the good in me? You do it constantly, But how can you kiss me? Do you see something in me, that even I don't see? Is that it? You do it constantly, But how can you pull me closer? And how can you say constantly, How can you say you live for me? Is it that you see a spark of good in me? That must be it, As we sleep soundly in the night, A peaceful sleep amidst the chaos. |

@ Toyumi - *Sniff* I love it! It makes me sad cause I kinda feel that way right now, but it is very well written! I really like it! @ All - The front post is updated so please let me know if I need to fix anything! HTML gets soo wordy after a while :D This is the story, of a classic pair of lovers, bound by passion, blinded by love, betrothed by fate. This is the messed up fairytale of us; where the boy’s father screams no and the girl’s father says yes. This the upside down story of us; where I keep myself up each night worrying that I’ll never be good enough for you. This is the backwards tale of us, but in the end we’re just another fairytale; caught up in a love that cannot be. I stare up at the stars And I pray to the god above; that maybe I’ll be able to see you again, but deep in the bottom of my bleeding heart, I know the chances are slim. Oh how I miss you, my shining prince. Oh how I wish, I could be more than the pheasant girl for you. Oh how I pray, that one day this wall between us will come crashing down, and I will be safe in your arms, forever more. |

@ Anke- HTML is so much fun after awhile! At least I find it to be fun... XD Because it's a way to show your own style, and once you get the codes down then it's pretty easy. Anyways, back to the poems... Thank you! I actually thought that poem wasn't really too good (It was just a thing I thought of, at a sleepover at 1 AM no less. But I had the inspiration so I decided to make a poem out of it). And your poem is really cute! I like it a lot! Very descriptive, and is has a good vocabulary as well (I've hardly ever heard the word betrothed outside of my English class). |

@ Orange- Welcome!!! And of course you can join (anyone can join if they like poetry). Oh and I see there's a new discussion topic (or at least I don't remember it XD). And no, you don't have to be in love to write love poems. It might make it more meaningful for you, but you don't have to be in love. As an example, I wrote my latest poem, Constant, when I was single. |

I stopped by to answer the discussion topic. :3 I think it is not necessary to be in love in order to make a love-type poem. But it will boost your sense of being a true poet since you can relate to it big time. :D And I also think that, of course, you would want your *ahem* love story to be made into a majestic poem and to be read by your friends. Am I right? :) @Anke >HELLOOO!!! :O School's being hellish now. D: I hardly can't make any poems at the moment.. (So sorry~~~ D:) @Orange >Welcome! :3 My name's Carrot. :D So glad to meet you~ @Toyumi >I miss youuuu~ :D |

Sugar coated truths and the space between the lies is where you found me waiting for you. So if this is goodbye, let me leave you with sugar free and selfish words, "I love you." |

@ Carrot - I'm sorry school is being hellish, I'm sooo happy to be on summer break. I have to agree with you though, I had written love poems before I had actually been in love, but they were much more meaningful when the emotion was genuine. @ Orange - Thanks! It's kind of a depressing poem to me. It's a break up poem... soo.... oh well, I'm glad you like it! @ all - the front page should be up to date, PM me if I left anything out! |

Hm, long time no post (Well not too long but still XD)... @ Anke- 7 Pages sounds like... Alot. XD And your new poem is very good, but like you said it is depressing. Break-ups are very sad (and sometimes bittersweet depending on how you left and such)... Oh well enough with depressing break up talk. It's a good poem! @ Carrot- Hahaha, I miss you too Carrot! And I know what it's like when school is hellish, I hope everything turns out okay in the end! Well, it's been awhile since I posted a new poem, so here's a new one. Laughing and smiling all the same, My life just got that much brighter when you came. True passions that we share, Knowing that there is someone in the world who will care. 'I see.' Is what you tell me. And every time I hear, It is like a soft whisper in my ear. And yet, this is not the case. As I haven't even glimpsed your face. We can only imagine in our mind, And for this reason our love is blind. Just wishing and waiting for that time, When I look into your eyes and you look into mine. And then I'll know everything is as it seems. And this is not in our dreams. |
