Been a long time since I've been here. Work is taking up much of my time again -- even more so now that I've finally learned how to do animation, woo hoo! \(^o^)/ I feel like the mad doctor who made Frankenstein saying, "Its alive! Its alive!" lolz Anyways, enough about me. I see some new talent on the thread which is G-R-E-A-T since the thread welcomes all posts from all users who enjoys drawing, painting, etc. Unfortunately, (dang it) I've no time to comment on all the new entries since my last post except for the ones that are currently on this page, but thank you very much to those who commented on my Lionel drawing a few pages back :) So here goes: @lust: Your Black Rock Shooter and Clannad pieces are amazing. I love your use of color in the latter, while your choice of varying blue and dark tones for BRS is just beautiful to the eyes. Love the textures in the piece too. Sorry, if I sound like I'm gushing. I just really admire those who're good with colors :3 @ich: As usual ich, your art never fail to dissapoint. I would love to have a stereo system like that. Looks kinda scary., but awesomely so XD Just curious though, are you on some Vocaloid craze at the moment, heh heh ^^ @caeme: For your first artwork, it really is not bad :) Nice side profile. Do you plan on improving this later as you last mentioned in your artist's comments in your deviantart account? ------------------------------------------------------------ And done. So below is a fanart of Chi from Chi's Sweet Home. I think I nearly died from excessive cuteness of that series XD Cartoons should come with prescriptions, lol Was veeerrry nervous while inking the head since I did it free hand. Glad I didn't mess up. I would've gone ballistic if I did >.< I WANT A CHI!!!! X3   |

She's suppose to draw me a chibi Sebastian from Kuroshitsuji with cat's ears and she said that I could draw whatever I wished. Since she's drawing me a man, I though I might as well do the same XD  |

@Ich I am just in love by your Mizki concept! If I had the skill level (and the money) I think I'd do a cosplay of her ^^ @Jiekobu I really like your piece of Koujou, but I feel that her pose is a little stiff and the body proportions are slightly off - particularly around her hip and waist area when she bends. Overall, despite that small flaw, I still like it. Also, the background isn't overly detailed allowing the character to be the main focus of the piece :) @Red Can I be honest and say that your piece looks really cool while nearing borderline creepy? hahaha ^^ No really, I think it looks awesome :3 @Nekanake I feel like my love for all things Victorian and Loli-esque is intensified just by looking at your piece. Thank for showing us something so sweet ^^ ------------------------------------------- Let's hope I haven't missed out anyone... And now, on to descriptions! I've always had a fascination with twins, symmetry and yin-yangs. Since reading Ouran High's Host Club manga by Bisco Hatori, it finally gave me some motivation to try touch on the subject with symmetry. After a few teeny tiny mistakes my mind was all 'Ah, screw it!' and paid little attention to the symmetry bit -- that plus my hands were dying from having to draw the lace. Not exactly happy with it, but at least I tried. The piece still feels a little plain to me, but I decided to leave it the way it is. Hmm...could almost be used for a cover of some storybook, I think :) Oh, and remind me never to draw lace again. Ever >.>  |

@ich Thanks, ich. I actually do have an account on DA, but have stopped posting there for personal reasons. I only go there to browse through the site on now and then when I need inspiration. @Cel That looks really cute, Cel! I especially like how you colored the eyes. Azusa is one of my favourite girls from K-ON as well as Mio :) -------------------------------------- Been awhile since I posted. Here's Tara my thief-girl whose a friend of Lionell, my spymaster that I posted a while back. Its ironic how I previously talked about anatomy errors when I tend to do the same mistake myself.
