Hello, I'd like to slip into this RP with these characters of mine. Ugo already checked them out. Sorry for the overload of detail though. Western Name Order. Use nickname instead of real name when refering to them. Name: "Trombe" Endoh Organization: Time Traveler Age: 15? Bio: Ever since he jumped to Haruhi's timeline, he's been called "Trombe", even though that is far from his real name. He is best friends with Daitetsu, whom was the first being he made contact with, once he re-entered the timeline after recovering from a mishap with Haruhi Suzumiya. He once "dated" Haruhi when she was in middle school. It was a reckless mission given to him by some of the more moronic members of the Time Travel Agency. After one of the shortest dates ever (almost 6 minutes), he was dumped. Upon returning to his original timeline to report to his superiors, he was severely injured. However, he miraculously recovered after intensive care and rehabilitation. Trombe's appearance was changed though, so Haruhi would probably not even recognize him, not to mention that his middle school records were erased and altered to accelerate him to high school. He was reassigned to one of the experimental departments of the Time Travel Agency, and apparently has been assigned a mission to test and observe various things.He is an expert sharpshooter with all sorts of ranged armaments, especially his experimental rifle, given to him by the same department he is currently working for. He is a stoic and calm person, who gives an aura of warmth whenever he is around. Although he has tried to stay away from Haruhi for the time being, since his current mission doesn't exactly deal with her, Daitetsu almost dragged him into the SOS Brigade. Luckily, he resisted for the time being. Weapon: Collapsible Laser Rifle w/ Bayonet Attachment: A laser rifle that fires laser bolts, and laser beams, and can also be used for stabbing or slashing with the bayonet. It can actually be compressed to the size of a bunch of pens, which is the form it takes when Trombe has no need for it. It is an experimental weapon, so it has a time device linked to the future, to allow Trombe to use different attachments and modes, as well as for maintenance. AP: 8/8 Skills: Scout (1 AP) - See further in the area Future Sighting (1 AP) - Predict occasional enemy attacks Rush (1 AP) - Allows a user to run at a faster pace than a normal run for a short distance Aerial Recovery (1 AP) - Regains posture when knocked into the air, since you can't respond when knocked into the air. Attachments and Ammunition (The '->' are just future upgrades of skills. Each one can only be used for 1-6 posts (# before RT), depending on strength, before they have to recharged. Passive attachments are always on. It takes 1 post to switch an attachment with one of an equal or lesser amount of AP, unless 'Linked' to another attachment. Linked attachments share an RT): Aiming Device (1 AP) - Uses a laser to aid targeting (Passive) Recoilless (1 AP) - Steadies hand to shoot multiple times without recoil (Passive) Blank Shot (1 AP) - Fires a blank powerful enough to create a very temporary barrier of air (6/RT: 1 post) Special Programs: Vanishing Shot (1 AP) - Fires a shot that jumps time to reach the enemy (RT: 10 posts) Unequipped Skills: Defender (2 AP) - Instant Defense Boost Countershot - React Act (2 AP) - Shoots down incoming enemy projectiles (RT: 3 posts) Unequipped Attachments and Ammunition: Bounder (1 AP) - Bounces shots off of walls and obstacles (Passive) Stun Shot -> Spider Net (1 AP) - Launches an electrically charged projectile to stop enemies/Launches an electrical net that stops enemies (Linked with Jammer. 1/RT: 3 posts) Jammer -> Magnet Pulse (1 AP) - Fires a wave/pulse that stops any electrical weaponry for 2 posts (Linked with Stun Shot. 2/RT: 3 posts) Scatter Shot -> Phalanx (2 AP) - Fires slugs that spread out randomly, like a shotgun; stronger at close range/Fires a volley of explosive flechettes (2/RT: 2 posts) Thermal Blast (2 AP) -> Fires a heat wave like a flamethrower (Linked with other Blasts. 5/RT: 3 posts) Lightning Blast (2 AP) -> Fires several arcs of lightning (Linked with other Blasts. 5/RT: 3 posts) Arctic Blast (2 AP) -> Fires subzero rounds (Linked with other Blasts. 5/RT: 3 posts) Armor Pierce (1 AP) - Fires an armor piercing round (6/RT: 1 post) HEAT -> Tandem-charge HEAT (2 AP) - Fires an explosive armor piercing charge (1/RT: 5 posts) Homing Shot -> Homing Laser (2 AP) - Locks onto target and fires a swarm of bullets/beams (Linked to normal ammo (i.e. can be changed at any time if there is sufficient AP.) 1/RT: 0 if a single shot, 2 posts if swarm) Sniper Scope (2 AP) - Targets a foe's weakpoint and fires a critical shot ((i.e. can be changed at any time if there is sufficient AP.) 1/RT: 2 posts) ---- Name: Tetsuya "Daitetsu" Kageyama Organization: Alien Age: 15? Bio: Daitetsu, as he is nicknamed because he appears much older than he actually is, is another back-up for Yuki Nagato, recently created as a replacement for the late Ryoko Asakura. He was programmed with a new code, that held his superior's word above his own motives. However, he has a personality that borders on chivalry, turning him away from most dirty acts, such as harming other beings to get data. Daitetsu is a hotblooded individual who wants to protect others with his strength. He feels that by following Yuki's instructions, that will come in due time. He is stronger than most, but he never displays his strength because Yuki ordered him not to do so. He has an affinity for metal manipulation, which makes up most of his common abilities. He was the first being to contact Trombe after he re-entered the timeline, by sheer coincidence. They became fast friends, even though they had different origins. They soon collaborated on their missions. Daitetsu developed a sort of glitch in his system, which created a crush on Haruhi, and became tempted to approach her, even though his superiors ordered him not to. He nearly joined the SOS Brigade, but Trombe held him back. He has settled for observing Haruhi in the halls, but it seems he remains unnoticed. Weapon: Liquid-Metal Combat Blade Expanded Solid Form: Though Daitetsu has matter manipulation powers like Yuki, his are nowhere as diverse, or powerful. Instead, he specializes in the manipulation of metals. His prefered weapon is his blade, which keeps metal in the handle in a stable liquid state, thus giving it the name, liquid-metal. It appears to be a flashlight when in standby form, as to avoid drawing suspicion. It can actually act as a flashlight though, by releasing a small amount of miniature metal shards near the top that collect light and focus them into a light beam. When he needs to use it, he can alter the liquid metal's properties to form into a blade, almost instantaneously, which is its standard combat form. The blade can also expand drastically in size, to ridiculous proportions (longer than he is tall). The different states of matter are no limit to Daitetsu, who can manipulate the metal through solid, liquid, and even plasma states. The handle also can be expanded because it is formed of metal as well, so it keeps the entire weapon balanced. The knife is actually very heavy, having a large mass of compressed liquid metal within its handle, but Daitetsu can wield it with relative ease. Requires Form Lv0) Form Lv2 (2 AP) - Katana: A balanced sword suited for both slashing and thrusting/Tsurugi: A straight double-edged sword suited for slashing/Yari: A lance with an elongated blade suited for stabbing (Forms can be changed once every 3 posts. Requires Form Lv1) Lv2 Techniques (i.e. Requires Form Lv2) Denkosekka (2 AP) - A blindingly quick thrust that sends a spear of compressed air at the enemy (RT: 2 posts) Unequipped Skills: Attacker (2 AP) - Instant strength boost High Jump (1 AP) - Allows a user to jump high into the air, enough to go atop trees Double Jump (2 AP) Allows a user to jump to a higher elevation in midair once Rush (1 AP) Allows a user to run at a faster pace than a normal run for a short distance Hone (1 AP) - Increase Attack +1 by sharpening weapon Metal Storm (3 AP) - Creates a storm of metal that can be used both offensively and defensively. It's obviously the SOS Brigade. Who else but them would disturb the peace so? Daitetsu: Well...we should still investigate. Trombe: You just want to... Daitetsu: *louder than usual* Want to what? Trombe: Uh, never mind. Anyway, let's head in the opposite direction, lest we get snagged up in the chaos. Daitetsu: *borderline whining* But the only way to protect others is when there is chaos around to threaten others. *heroically* I shall stand against the chaos! Trombe: *muttering* Please stop, you're making a fool of yourself in the middle of a crowd of people. And last I heard, Yuki told you not to draw too much attention to yourself...And in addition, the SOS Brigade is the one causing the chaos. You would be standing against them. Daitetsu: Oh...you're right. Let's go. *heads off with Trombe somewhere else, further from the SOS Brigade Room, with his head lowered a bit* |
